Summary: Reader talks to Alex after Reggie ditches her for a girl. He was supposed to help her study for a major math test.

A/N: Honestly I had so many ideas for this request and I felt like Alex would be the shoulder to cry on type/ overprotective brother. Much Love 🌻

"Alex, I really need a hug right now." You say wiping a tear as you walk into the garage. Alex looks up from the book he was reading immediately getting up as he sees your tears.

"Woah, Y/N what happened? Why are you crying? Who do I have to hurt or get Luke to hurt?" He says wrapping his arms around you bringing you to the couch.

"Is it possible to love someone so much it hurts?" Looking up at him "Even if he doesn't know you love him?" Alex sighs knowing exactly who its about. Alex has known about your crush on Reggie for about 3 years now, you told him you needed to get it off your chest to someone.

"What did Reggie do now?" Rubbing your back as you tell him about the events that went down earlier.

You were walking back from the park when Reggie ran up to you. Even though you ignored him when he said hello, he still started talking to you about the girl he had been hanging out with recently.

"Reggie, I honestly don't really care about this girl or the fact that you guys have been hanging out a lot." You say speeding up hoping he would take the hint and leave, but he didn't, instead, he kept walking with you trying to get you to tell him what's wrong. He eventually came to the conclusion that him and this girl hanging out was what was bothering him.

"What is the big deal with me hanging out with this girl." He says stepping in front of you to make you stop walking and finally look him in the face.

"Nothing Reginald, what matters is YOU LEFT ME! You promised me the other night to help me study for the math test. I have been stressing for weeks about this test, I needed you but you went to hang out with her." You say as tears form in your eyes. "I failed that test because I didn't understand anything about it. Let me guess you passed with flying fucking colors, you always were amazing at math." Walking away leaving a very confused Reggie behind.

"You really must be pissed at him," Alex says as you finish the story, "I don't think I've ever heard you call him Reginald. Only ever Reggie or Reg" As you were about to reply Reggie walks through the door to the garage looking like a puppy that had just been kicked.

"Hey, can I talk to Y/N alone for a minute Alex?" He looks at his best friend in hopes that he will comply with his request. Alex looks at you before pulling away and walking towards the door after you give him a nod. He puts his hand on Reggie's shoulder.

"Reggie, I love you man, but if you ever make her cry again I will punch you." He says before leaving and closing the door behind him. Reggie walks up to the car, not wanting to piss you off more by sitting next to you. "I'm sorry, I know it doesn't change anything but I really am. I should have helped you study, but she was helping me with something really important."

You roll your eyes starting to get up to leave before he gets up too. "Please don't leave, just let me explain." You stay standing in front of him, ready to leave if he gives you a stupid explanation when he grabs an envelope from his pocket. "These are tickets to (your favorite artist/band), I was working for her so she would get them for me. I thought they would be a good surprise for you since the show is on your birthday. I was gonna have it be a date if you said yes of course. If you want to go with someone else I totally understand now."

You look at him as he hands you the tickets. He really did this all for you? Without a second thought, you pull him by his jacket into a kiss.

"I would love to go with you Reggie and I'm sorry about the way I acted." You say breaking the kiss.

"Maybe I'll forgive you if you give me another kiss." He says leaning in to capture your lips again.
