Summary: You and Luke always had a weird friendship. You didn't hate each other but neither of you was gonna say you liked each other either.

A/N: Much Love 🌻

You and Luke always had that type of relationship where people didn't know if you liked each other or you were mortal enemies. You were either being all touchy or you were fighting.

When you were fighting, it was never anything major. It was about where you were supposed to stand on stage or him always changing the cords while your practicing.

You were heading up to spend the next few days in your family's cabin out on the beach. Reggie and Alex refused for you two to be together on the ride and while your there so, the pairs were you and Alex, Reggie and Luke, and Flynn and Julie.

Right now the six of you were outside having a campfire. While most of you were sitting Luke decided to perform a random dialogue that he found online, causing you and the rest of the group to be laughing so hard you couldn't breathe.

"You are the most adorable dork I've ever seen." You say whispering under your breath to yourself. The only problem with you making this statement was that Alex had heard you and Luke had heard your voice, but he didn't hear what you said.

'What was that Y/N?" He said turning from serenading Reggie to face you. You look up at him hoping that he hadn't heard you.

"I said you were a dork." It was technically not a lie since it had been part of your sentence. Luke, satisfied with the answer, turned back to Reggie as Alex laughed next to you shaking his head. Smacking his arm, you stand up to walk back into the house. "Hey guys, I'm starting to get cold so I'm just going to go inside goodnight." Waving to the group before you walk through the back door.

Walking back into the room you and Alex shared, you headed towards his suitcase. It wasn't uncommon for you to steal one of Alex's sweatshirts since you had known him for years. Grabbing the first one you saw, you put it on and grabbed your book from your bag, and started reading.

You were left alone in peaceful silence for about 10 minutes before Luke knocked on the door. Walking he opened his mouth to say something but immediately shut it as he looked at what you were wearing.

"Is that my hoodie?" You follow his eyes down to your sweater as you finally get a good look at it for the first time since you put it on, your eyes widen.

"Don't let it go to your head Patterson, I grabbed the first one I saw from Alex's bag and it just happened to be yours. You're hot but not that hot." The last sentence slipping out of your mouth before you could stop it. Looking up at Luke you find him already staring at you.

"You think I'm hot?" he says showing pure surprise on his face. Your face goes red as you hide it with your book. Luke snaps out of his frozen state before walking over to you and grabbing the book out of your hands. He looks down at the hoodie before moving back up to your face.

"It looks better on you anyway, and it's not like I ever really wear sleeves. I didn't even notice Alex took it, so keep the sweater." He says before going to walk back out of the room, "By the way, if you want any more clothes, just come ask." Winking as he walks past Alex who is walking the room.

"What was that about?" He says looking at the spot where Luke was seconds ago before looking at you. He watches as you fall back onto your pillow sighing.

"I honestly have no idea." The two of you make eye contact before he shrugged and jumps into the bed next to you.
