Summary: You and Reggie never got along, but maybe it wasn't for the reason you thought.

A/N: I changed the request a little because I have an imagine similar to this already, but it still has the same premise. I also added prompt 25 because it felt like it was a good fit for the imagine. Much Love 🌻

You and Reggie never particularly got along

You and Reggie never particularly got along. It wasn't that you loathed each other it was just you guys constantly bickered. Due to this, the boys tried to keep you as far apart as they could, but sometimes you two were forced to be near each other which led to another fight.

Today was one of the days that you two were forced together. The boys had agreed to help your mom with some stuff around the house. She had always oved all the boys. Reggie in particular was her favorite. You had told your mom multiple times that you and Reggie never got along, but she always believed that if you spent enough time together that it would get resolved.

"Thank you boys so much for helping out. So, Luke you and Alex will be organizing the garage. I'll be cleaning the attack, which leaves Reggie and Y/N to do the shed and the garden." You mom says as she turns to head upstairs before anyone could protest.

"Listen, we get this done quickly then we wont have to worry." Reggie says looking at the boys, who looked nervous then to you.

"Whatever," You grab the gloves and broom, "lets just get this over with." The four of you part ways. Reggie opens the shed and starts to grab the things inside trying to figure out how to clean it.

"I say we pull everything out, clean the floor, and then just restack everything better." Nodding, you start to grab the stuff and pull them out. It took the two of you only about 30 minutes to clean the entire shed, which only left the garden.

All you had to do in the garden was water the plants then you were done. Reggie had other plans though, he looked at the hose before studying you for a few seconds. As you were about to ask him why he was staring at you like that, the pointed the hose at you. You let out a yelp as you ran at the boy trying to turn the water off. In the fight for the hose Reggie tripped backwards, causing you to fall on top of him.

It was if the world stopped moving, the two of you were just there looking into each others eyes. You had always thought that you had done something to cause Reggie to hate you. After what felt like forever, you clear your throat and stand up offering a hand to Reggie. Grabbing your hand, you pull him up. The backyard fell silent as you wring out your shirt.

"Why do you hate me?" The words came out in the smallest voice. The thought had been gnawing at you for the longest time and because of what happened, you figured maybe now was the time to bring it up.

"What? I don't hate you." Reggie looks as confused as he did when Alex tried to explain photosynthesis to him. Reggie had always believed that if he stayed away and was standoffish that his feels would go away. Sighing, he turned off the hose and looked up to see you already looking at him. "I like you so much it pisses me off. It's like any time I see plushie I think of you because we get them for you every year for your birthday, since for some reason, you love them."

It was true, you had fallen in love with stuffed animals when you were a kid because every time your father would go somewhere on work he would bring you home one. The boys started getting you one each on your birthday after they found this out.

Before you could say anything, you notice Reggie moving cautiously closer to you. His hands go the the back of your head bringing you closer, he pauses right before your lips were to touch allowing you to pull away if you wanted to.

When your lips touch its like you have been missing this for your whole life. His hands wrap around your waist and your hands grab his face pulling each other closer than before. Pulling apart for air, the two of you look at each other like you're each others missing pieces.

"Hey, guys can you come here a second?" Before your lips were able to touch again, Alex screams from the garage. You and Reggie reluctantly pull apart and start heading towards the voice.

"Good, we need," Alex pauses as he takes in your appearance as you walk into the garage. "Why are you two wet?" He says cautiously as if you were going to explode if he said it to fast. You look over to see that Reggie's shirt was damp, most likely from when you kissed.

"I don't want to talk about it." You say trying to get the attention away from the topic. Reggie, on the other hand, had a different idea.

"I sprayed her with the hose, we kissed, and now I'm wet too." He says sitting down and acting like it was nothing major. Luke and Alex had a shocked look on their faces before they burst out laughing.

"Yeah right, you two would never kiss. We would have a better chance of hell freeing over." Luke's laughing gets harder as he falls on a bag off clothes. From the house you hear your mom calling you to come help with food. Frustrated enough, you turn to just leave, but Reggie stops you.

"They can really be dicks sometimes can't they?" He says nodding to the boys who were still laughing on the floor.

"Well," an idea had popped into your head. They don't want to believe it, then let's just show them. "we could always make them believe it." A smirk grew on Reggie's face when he realized what you were suggesting. In a second, his lips were back on yours, the room growing silent. This kiss lasted for only a few second when he pulled away.

"That was unexpected." Alex said from his spot next to Luke. Their shocked faces were back.

"Yeah, didn't you guys hate each other yesterday?" Luke pipes up as you walk out the door with a smile on your face, leaving Reggie to answer the boys questions.
