Cupcakes

(Sonic's POV)

I had Tails join us to have cupcakes with me, Amy, and Iris. Man, these sweets are making me feel no bloodlust, like whatever is strong against bloodlust. Maybe something in these cupcakes is making me fight my bloodlust or perhaps is just me.

"Thanks for inviting me in guys." Tails said while having his cupcake.

"It's a pleasure. Man, these cupcakes are delicious. It's making me feel different." I said, eating them slowly so I don't get a sugar attack.

"Well Cream taught me how to do them." Amy said, watching as Iris ate hers.

"So, a poem writer and a baker? What else are you good at?" I asked her.

"Martial artist and a prankster. Dexter and I used to prank each other at high school and we had good laughs and it brought us together as lovers. But that's all in the past now." Amy explained.

"Bet you were the school's clowns." I joked.

"Heh, more like high school pranksters." Amy giggled and had her milk to drown the dryness in her mouth from the sweets.

"Okay. Well I've done pranks on Shadow and Silver too." I snickered.

"Like what kind of prank was funny?" Amy asked.

"The time I used a flashlight on them in their sleep, it made them think it was actually sunlight and they thought they were gonna burn into a crisp." I laughed at that memory.

"I wish I could've seen their faces." Tails started laughing.

"You have no idea how scared they were; they did get pissed off but they could never stay mad at me forever." I snickered.

"They are your guardians after all." Amy said.

"You seem to act different, Sonic. It's like you're becoming more mortal than a vampire." Tails said.

"Well by hanging with you three makes me feel less of a monster." I replied.

"And what made you come during the daylight?" Tails asked.

"Well I thought that it is time for a change, spent too much time in darkness." I said.

"Ga! Ga!" Iris begging for another cupcake from me.

"Okay just one." I gave it to her.

"Yum!" She munched on it.

"You really are getting good at being a father to her." Tails said.

"Yeah thanks. You could be her uncle if you like." I said.

"If she can call me uncle the same way she calls you dada." Tails laughed.

"Hahahaha.... You're always the little bro for me." I laughed back.

"Yeah but by the time when I'm older than your physical age, I'll be the big brother to you." Tails laughed.

"We'll see." I chuckled and picked up Iris, cradling her. "Who's daddy's girl? Yes, you are." I said to her in a babyish voice.

"Ehehehehe!" Iris giggled and reached for me.

"Can you say uncle?" I asked her and gestured to Tails.

"Uh uh Un...Unca...Unca!" Iris tried to say uncle.

Eh, a little close but at least she's saying it. Maybe when her teeth come, she'll be able to learn how to talk and say a few words. She's still very young but I know I have confidence that she'll say her first few words.

"Well you tried, Iris." I gently rubbed her cheek.

"Dada." Iris giggled cutely.

"Dada love you too, little angel." I stroked her little quills.

"So cute." Amy smiled at us.

"You make such a lovely father." Tails snickered.

"She's like a cute little angel to me." I said and saw she was getting very sleepy with a cute yawn. I smiled and brought her to her bedroom and put her in the crib.

I put the blanket over her and she looked up at me with tired eyes. I pet her little head gently. "You're our precious treasure, Iris."

Iris smiled and I placed her teddy bear next to her.

"Sleep well my angel." I kissed her forehead.

"Mmmmmm." Iris finally falls asleep.

I quietly closed the door so she can sleep peacefully and not hear loud sounds to wake her. She's like my angel guardian but she's still my little angel to me.

"That was really nice of her to share cupcakes with me. She's like my guardian angel." I said to Amy.

"That's some real father and daughter bonding." Amy smiled.

"It's like she put a spell on me to make me feel like a father." I chuckled and put my arms around her waist.

"Oh, Sonikku." Amy giggled and kissed me.

"You are the true light of my life, Ames." I said to her.

"I'll see you lovebirds later. And thanks for the yummy cupcakes." Tails waved and left Amy's apartment room.

"Bye." I waved good bye.

"You make my daughter the happiest girl ever. That's what I like about you, Dark Wind." Amy stroked my quills.

"You're welcome Amy. Like I've said before, you made me feel more normal." I smiled warmly back.

"And you found love." Amy smiled.

"Oh, come here you!" I teasingly dipped her but held her back making her giggle.

"Hahahaha! Sonic!" Amy laughed and held my neck.

"You are like the beauty of a rose flower." I chuckled and brought her to the couch.

"Aw, thanks Sonic." Amy said.

"Heh, that's what I like about you because you have kindness like my mother." I snuggled on her soft strawberry scented quills. Amy purred cutely as we had our cute moment.
