~~~ Sakura POV ~~~
Damn that hurt. Who was he anyway? I don't know but I think I hear someone calling me.

"Sakura!"

Itachi

"Please flower wake up..."

Sasuke

I open my eyes and they're both holding me

"Guys? What happened after I blacked out?" I ask barely above a whisper

"Thank Kami!" They both say

"Where's Kisame?" I ask

"He went to back to the base to tell them what happened." Says Itachi

"How ya feelin' Flower?" Asks sasuke

'Is Itachi glaring at Sasuke? Nah, probably just my imagination'

"Better..." I say then I start to cry without knowing it

"Sakura?!" Says Itachi

"Come here..." Says Sasuke, "you're okay..shh..you're okay." He says as I get near him and he starts patting my head and back. After a few minutes I fall asleep.

~~~Itachi's POV~~~

'Why did she start crying?' I ask myself

"She's crying because of a old memory, or at least that's my guess.." Says Sasuke

"How did yo-" I start to ask

"I saw the look in your face." He says

"Well what happened to her to make her cry?" I ask

"When she went on a mission while I was gone with Orochimaru, a missing-nin she was hunting came to kill his assassination in her sleep. But..."

"But what?" I ask

"But he found her beautiful and decided it would be a waste to kill her without having his fun..." He says and I piece it together without him having to speak another word.

"He raped her..." I say almost growling

"Hn." Yes

"Who did it?" I ask while boiling mad

"Don't worry she killed him and made sure it was painful, but it scarred her a little." He says

"You love her don't you?" He asks and it throws me off guard

'Do I? Is this protective dealing I get over her, when someone touches her, or even says her name. Called love. Even though I know Sasuke doesn't like her that way from spying on them earlier, with her in his arms instead of mine pisses me off...why?"

'Because you love her.' A voice in the back of my head says

"I think I do..." I say and Sasuke lifts an eyebrow

"No. I do, I do love Sakura Haruno Uchiha."

"Good. But if you hurt her, even though I know why you did what you did, I'll kill you. She's like my little sister and I will protect her even from you." he says and I'm proud that he is finally growing up.

"I won't hurt her, because the day I do, is the day I'm done living." I tell him

"Okay. Take care of her. You have to feed her. Love her-" he starts

"She's not a pet Sasuke.." I say then we both end up in a fit of laughter

"I know. I know. But seriously. Don't hurt her." He says looking back down at her with a gentle look in his eyes

"I won't. I promise."
