~~~Itachi's POV~~~
"No butts..." I say and a little later sakura dozes off in my arms
"Sigh* what are we going to do with you?" I say out loud but not loud enough to wake her
"We almost lost you today...I almost lost you today..." I say to myself realizing how close I really did almost never got to hear her light, bubbly laugh or her silk-like voice or touch her soft, satin skin or see her full, pink lips pull into a smile one last time...
' I would have lost yet another one of my precious persons, first my clan, specifically my mother and father, my best friend, Sakura's brother, Shisui, and today I almost lost her and if madara didn't stop there then Sasuke could've been next then I would be alone...'
While I thought on these things sakura snuggled closer to me. Confused by the sudden contact I look down to see her smiling
"Even in sleep you make me feel better..." I say quietly
"Chu*" I bent down and softly kisses her forehead, which she used to get picked on about, but I think it's kinda cute
"Itachi..." she whispers and I panic a little thinking she heard me or worse felt me kiss her
"Mngh..." I breath out a sigh of relief she was just dreaming... wait why did she say my name? What's she dreaming about?
"Please don't leave me..." she whispers
Shocked she's having a dream about me. And even more shocked of me leaving.
"I won't. I promise I'm here. Always."
