The Adventure of Adrian Lycan, The Lord of Phoenix Drop

Chapter 1: The beginning

- Adrian's Prov
I'm in my bedroom that my big brothers Levin and Malachi made for me in their house and they even bought me some toys I wanted since I was growing up and they always told me stories about Mom and Dad, I never knew my parents, they passed away when I was only a baby and Levin and Malachi have been BASICALLY my adoptive parents as well as Alina, whenever Malachi and Levin leave for a few days, her and Lilith are to watch out for me, take care of me and teach me the difference between right and wrong but I like them better as my brothers and sisters than fathers and mothers because I already have a father-figure, Garroth, he's like a father to me and Katelyn is like a mother to me while Kawaii~Chan and Dante are like my aunt and uncle but Mom made Garroth my Godfather which explains why he's a father-figure to me and he's even been trying to teach me how to use a sword but a sword is too heavy for me but I'm best with a staff and I even have my own staff, well, it's more like a metal stick instead of a staff and I had Brendon add a leather strap on it so it has a handle that'll be soft in my hand

I use it as not just a staff, but also as a training sword, I found it when I was on the beach by The Phoenix Capital, Levin and Malachi let me keep it because they saw how well I can handle it and how I told them it felt so much more comfortable than what other bokkens we tried for me, so I made a little scabbard thing onto my back so I don't have to carry it all the time, it's also huge for me, but I can work with it better when I'm older, I mainly use it as a walking/hiking stick but if I have to, I use it as a weapon, I also try my absolute hardest to be a good apprentice for Garroth but I know about what happened with Garroth's last apprentice but I made a promise to not fail him and I intend on keeping that promise and whenever I make a promise, I NEVER break it, EVER, I then went downstairs and saw Alina with Lilith talking about someone on the couch "I'm going to go play with Rollo and Lello! I might be home for dinner" I told my sisters and they turned to me "Okay, make sure to stay near the village in case you get into any trouble" Alina reminded me as I was putting on my shoes "I know, I will!" I called back as I picked up my staff because you never know if I might get in trouble with a bandit or something and I can beat them up with what I learned from Garroth because he actually learned how to use multiple weapons at the guards academy and saw my talent with a staff so he taught me how to use it and taught me how to dual wielding two weapons as well but I'm still learning the basics, I still got a really long way to go before I can even remotely call myself a skilled swordsman and stick fighter, anyway, I went outside and saw my two half werewolf friends so I ran to them and they might be teenagers and I might be a pre teenager but that doesn't stop us from being best friends, we're best friends period, I then started playing go fish with them and I am a master of this game, I somehow always know their cards AND WE DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW!!XD, we then went to the portal to Irene's realm and I know who my mother is and I know I'm the son of Lady Irene herself, I then walked up to the giant crater of when the portal exploded where my father killed himself and Zane with him, where the portal used to be where my godmother Zoey gave up her immortality to open the portal and I don't have something as special as that to open the portal but I will figure out what Zane did to conjure up that portal and I'll replicate it somehow and open the portal to hopefully meet my mother.... one day, I hope. Rollo, Lello and I then started cloud gazing and I pointed out some clouds that looked like certain things but then both Rollo and Lello both stood up in a panic as I looked confused at them "What is it?" I asked them "...We're not alone..." Lello told me so I got up and quickly picked up my staff and held it at the ready after I heard a twig snap and got in front of my friends protectively and I will try my absolute hardest to protect the ones I care about, even if it means die trying, but what we saw in the trees turned out to be a false alarm, it was only a stag and we actually scared it and it ran away and a stag is a deer with antlers, a male deer, a doe is a female deer, the kind without antlers, anyway, I sighed in relief "It's only a stag" I laughed as me and my friends were laughing at how worried we were "What were we so worried about??" I asked them while laughing with my friends and Rollo patted my back while Lello grabbed me and lifted me up "WHOA!" I yelled as Lello put me on his shoulders "Alright, let's get back before we're missed" Lello said "Aren't I heavy??" I asked worried "Heh, a pint sized little fun guy like you? Not at all, especially for someone who's half werewolf" he replied "HEY! I am not short!" I yelled as I playfully crossed my arms and pouted playfully as we went back to Phoenix Drop and turns out Alina is the new Lord of Phoenix Drop because Levin stepped down as lord and gave the title to Alina but anyway, we then went to the beach by the docks as we were taking turns jumping off the dock in our undergarments so we don't get our clothes wet, anyway, I ended up at the edge of the dock so I backed up and sprinted to the edge "WOOO!!!!" I screamed as I jumped BUT I JUMPED LIKE 10 FEET IN THE AIR!?!? "WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!!" I screamed as I started falling "AAAHHHH!!!!!" I screamed as I was falling and I'm falling into the shallow end so this....is gonna hurt....a lot.... I then covered my eyes ready for a huge amount of pain but then I felt like I was in some kind of...bubble??? I looked around and saw..ZOEY CAUGHT ME USING HER BARRIER MAGICKS! she then let me down with her barrier magicks and I did a cannonball but I have NEVER jumped that high before, I then did a big splash then Rollo and Lello came sprinting to me after I swam to shore and they held me as if I was hurt "Adrian! Are you alright!?" Rollo asked checking me to see if anything's broken but I feel perfectly fine, I then pulled away from them "I'm fine you guys, I just got scared is all" I told them and they consider me their little brother so that's why they were so scared for me and I couldn't ask for better friends, I then got my clothes back on and went home and after breakfast, Alina, Garroth and I were on a ship sailing to New Meteli to visit Cadenza because I need new clothes made because she made all my clothes so whenever I need new clothes, I go straight to her, about a few days of sailing, we arrived at New Meteli,

I ran to Cadenza because she considers me her nephew, actually all of Mom's friends consider me either their son or nephew, I then hugged Cadenza because I missed her so we went into her house and Vincent her guard is actually a Shadow Knight but he's the friendly kind, he's even been teaching me how to gain much better control over my anger, I greatly appreciate the lessons he's giving me, anyway, after Cadenza made me a new jacket, we heard the door slam open and a guard told Cadenza there's a bandit attack on the nearby village and they're actually going to target here next so Garroth made sure Alina and I stayed put in Cadenza's house but after hours, I went to the window because there are a little bit of bandits but I am not going to stay here and get kidnapped so I picked up my staff and a dagger I found in Cadenza's room and I REALLY hope Cadenza doesn't mind I take a dagger so I went to a window, opened it and convinced Alina we have to get out of here, we then got out and we made sure to sneak out of the village and we made a break for it deep into the forest buuuut... I saw an arrow get shot into a tree very close to me so Alina and I looked behind us and saw a bandit was chasing us so we peeled the Hell out of there and I did a trick by hiding behind a tree making this guy think we split up and as he ran past me, I pulled out the knife I have and I snuck up behind him "Hey!" I called out then he turned around "HAH!" I grunted as I stabbed him and I killed him so I took any useful things he might have and Alina and I just ran out of here and we plan on getting back to Phoenix Drop on foot because our ship was commandeered so we're stuck here but we ran away so we can get a head start back home but it turns out it might take at least a month or so to get back home because of how far we are so Alina and I found a cave to take shelter in and she helped me build a kind of door covered in leaves and grass so it can hide the cave we use as shelter and it has a bit of a small entrance that's a bit of a small hole but we can climb through it one at a time and because of Alina's powers, she put up the strongest barrier she can conjure up around the cave because Zoey has been teaching my sister barrier magicks but since I don't have any magic, I can't learn any because I don't have any powers of my own, anyway, we went to the nearest village and we actually made it to Nahakra Village but Alina and I can't be in there so we had to change our looks and our names so I changed my name to Aidan because it's the closest to Adrian and Alina chose the name Amanda AND we changed our clothes and Alina practices her magic and we built a small campfire in the cave to keep warm and I became a scavenger so I collected things, sell them for as much money as it costs and use the money I get to buy food for me and my sister and it's not an easy life but it's way better than nothing and I look like this now

But it's better than nothing, I just hope we can get home soon...
