Chapter 2: Meeting Rachel Ro'Meave and Nashmera Zvahl

It's been 7 years since Alina and I ran away from New Meteli and so far no one has been searching for me and my sister, so right now I'm at a line for trade with a merchant because I found some things that seem pretty old so it should be enough to afford food, I then walked up when it was my turn so I opened my satchel/rucksack

and pulled out a REALLY old looking sword

because it's the best I could find so the merchant examined it and gave me some money to afford two meals like usual for me and my sister so I took the money, thanked the merchant and went to buy food and then left the village and went to the cave Alina and I call "Home" because it's been 7 years since we ran away and I am struggling so much with being a scavenger! Anyway, I went inside the cave and started cooking the food as Alina was outside meditating because Vincent had been teaching her to control her emotions because we're descendants of Shad the Destroyer and the son and daughter of Lady Irene herself, anyway, I started to check the food and it's ready so I took them off the frying pan and put them on plates and went outside and sat next to Alina "Dinner's ready" I told her handing her a plate so we started eating and I'm not the BEST cook, but I'm descent, anyway, after we finished eating, I put on an old helmet I found a while ago and it looks like this

and I like to wear it and pretend I'm a knight, I then looked around as I was wearing the old helmet but then Alina and I heard yelling from two women and men so we stood up and I ran to the yelling and picked up my staff and Alina picked up the sword she has and it belonged to our Father, anyway, as we were running I saw some men trying to harass women so we got behind the men "Get your hands off of them!" I yelled and they started mocking Alina and I that we're just stupid kids so I ran towards them "I am Adrian of Phoenix Drop and you will leave them alone as I am the next Lord!" I yelled and I only tell who I really am unless absolutely necessary so they actually backed off and I started checking the women to see if they were hurt "Never thought a brat would be a lord..." said one of the guys so I stood up and pointed at him "Zip it or I will have you executed for sexual harassment and for attempted rape!" I threatened them and they left because what I said was true, I would have them executed for the crimes they committed because that's unforgivable, anyway, I made sure they were gone "Good riddance" said one of the women "Don't mind them, that's just Tommy and his gang" Alina told the women we helped and we know them because I had to beat up Tommy for harassing my sister when we first met him and I beat up his gang with my staff and I'm better with this stick than I thought, anyway, I then turned to the women and saw one of their laces was ripped a little "Your lace is torn a little" I told her then I started working on fixing it because somehow I've always been great at fixing things that are broken, always have been, I then fixed the lace and backed up after because I was kinda very close to the woman I helped fix her clothes "So where are you two from?" I asked them "We come from Phoenix Drop, just like you Adrian and Alina" said one of the women and we stared shocked at her "How do you know who we are??" I asked her and she has an African English accent with a little bit of Elvish sound to it "I am Laurance Zvahl's wife, I am Nashmera Zvahl" she introduced herself and we stared shocked at her because she's....Laurance's wife......Laurence disappeared into the Nether Realm years ago.... I then turned to the other "And you?" I asked "Rachel Ro'Meave, I am Garroth's wife" she told me and I can't believe Alina and I just saved my mentor's wife... I don't even know her! Why can't I remember her!?!? Or Nashmera!?! I should remember them but... I just don't!! whatever, I then looked around "You're close to O'Khasis, take a left after passing an old looking ruin because if you take a right, you'll drown in a pit full of poison ivy" I told them as I gave them directions to get to town so I started walking back to the cave Alina and I use as our home "Could we stay with the two of you for the night?" Rachel asked "No!" I exclaimed as I was continuing to walk but Alina stopped me and reminded me that these are our mother's friends and this is not what our mother would've wanted from us so I sighed and turned around and saw them about to leave but I sighed "Hey" I called to them and they turned to me and I shook my head towards the mountain that we're close to signalling them to follow us so they ran towards us and we continued walking to our cave home "Thank you" Nashmera thanked me for letting them stay with us for the night "But in the morning, you leave" I told them as we were close to Alina and I's cave home "Thank you for rescuing us" Rachel told me and I smiled a little "No problem" I replied and we managed to make enough room for them and we went to sleep.
