Chapter 24: Self-exiling myself but then going to defeat Shad the Destroyer

I'm in shock as The Force made both Kylo and I feel Finn die and... I never completed my training... there was so much I needed to tell him... I.. I'm what caused him to die because if I just thought things through instead of being so angry then maybe he would still be here! I then looked down at Kylo as I saw a hole in her chest from where I stabbed her, I then kneeled down beside her then I set my hand on her, closed my eyes and gave her some of my life and I healed her completely, even the scar on her eye is gone, however, I still haven't recovered from healing Nekoette and healing Kylo had done SO MUCH to me... I can barely see straight and it's so much harder to breathe now... I then stared at her trying not to cry and I remember that conversation we had when she asked me why I didn't take her hand but now it's about time I be honest with myself and everyone else "I... I did want to take your hand... I was in love with you when I heard about you... I really wanted to take your hand... Sarah Ro'Meave's hand... not Kylo Den's..." I admitted my feelings to her and I actually was in love with her and I was hoping to have a chance to be with her but I didn't because I wanted to be with Sarah... not Kylo Den... I then started sprinting back to Phoenix Drop and took a sailboat and left Phoenix Drop after everyone came and saw I healed Kylo Den but... I did everything I was taught to never do... I will not risk that ever again... I then sailed to the island Rey was on because... I am self-exiling myself before I hurt anyone else... I then destroyed the boat so I can make sure I can't get off this island and I managed to tap into Shad's relic to light the boat on fire as I was throwing wood at the boat "UGH!" I grunted throwing another piece of wood with my hood on

I then detached Rey's saber from my belt and held it as I started remembering everything I did with this and how many times I used this in anger, I then wiped my face from the tears streaming down my face "I'm so very sorry Mom and Dad... I failed you and everyone else..." I told the spirits of my parents apologizing for how I failed as a Jedi... I then raised the Lightsaber "UGH!" I grunted throwing the Lightsaber in the flames because I will not pretend to be something I can't be ever again! I watched the saber fly to the fire BUT SOMETHING CAUGHT IT IN MID AIR!? I then stared shocked as I saw the Lightsaber was acting like someone caught it, I then saw... Rey caught it... "You know, a Jedi's weapon deserves much more respect" said Rey as a ghost "...Master Rey!" I whisper/yelled shocked to see my master after all this time "What do you think you're doing apprentice?" Rey asked me then I saw a ship coming and Mom and the others somehow managed to find me so I sat down on the deck as I was about to explain why I'm here and what I'm doing "I did everything, every single thing that I was trained to NOT do" I told everyone "I drew my saber first... attacked Den... blinded with anger!" I exclaimed as I had fear in my voice "But then you healed her" Rey told me "I gave her some of my life" I started "In that moment, I would've given her all of my life! Died if I had to!" I exclaimed "What!?" Aaron, Aphmau and Alina exclaimed shocked that I would actually die to heal someone "Your compassion is what saved her" Rey told me "I had a vision when I didn't complete my last training course" I started "... I saw myself on Shad's throne... I saw myself taking his place as the new Shadow Lord..." I told them and they were shocked that that's my fate... "I will not allow that to happen" I told them "I am never leaving this island, I'm doing what you did Master" I told Rey and she smiled at me reassuringly "I was wrong" she told me "It was fear of failure that kept me here" she told me then she walked up to me a little "What are you most afraid of, apprentice?" Rey asked me and everyone stared at me waiting for me to respond "I'm... horrified of... myself.." I admitted "Because you're the wielder of Shad the Destroyer's relic" she told me and I stared shocked at her, she knew!? "Finn knew it too" she told me "...He didn't tell me?.." I asked Rey then she sat next to me as I held Rey's Lightsaber "He still trained me..." I whispered shocked "Because he saw your spirit, what was deep inside your heart" she told me "As well as your brothers and sisters" she told me and I looked towards Alina and she nodded that she knew the whole time? "Why didn't you ever tell me?" I asked Alina "Because Lilith, Levin, Malachi and I were trying to protect you from the pain of realization you would experience" Alina told me and I looked shocked that she and my other siblings never told me to protect me... "Adrian" Rey started "Some things are stronger than blood" she told me "Confronting and conquering fear is the destiny of a Jedi" she told me "Your destiny, if you do not go to the Nether Realm and face Shad at his weakened state, it will mean the permanent end of The Jedi and you will lose your chance to save your father" she told me and I started thinking "I wanted to prove to all of you that I was just as strong as all of you and as strong as Finn, but... I'm not.." I admitted that I wanted to be just like everyone here on the ship "Finn was stronger than anyone I taught" Rey told me "I don't know how to do this without guidance, I can't do this without Finn or you, I don't think I'm strong enough to do this on my own without help" I told Rey "I'm a descendant from someone so... evil and corrupted" I told Rey "Do you really think it was an accident you found me?" Rey asked me "Or that it was an accident to travel to this timeline?" Rey asked me "Two orphans with no memory of their parents, The Force is what brought you to Finn and I and it's what brought you here for a reason" Rey told me, she then got up "There's something I would like you to have" she told me so she told me where to go and I started digging where she told me to dig and I hit something so I pulled it out and it was a small chest? I then opened it and... a Lightsaber was inside the box...

I then picked it up and examined it and the second I had a good grip on it, I sensed its owner and smiled "What is that?" Aaron asked "...Finn's saber..." I whispered shocked "It was the night after Finn had received the formal ranking of Jedi Knight" she told me and I saw everything that happened when Rey and Finn had done together... I watched them training together, I even saw when Rey made Finn a Jedi Knight but then I saw when he had given his saber to Rey to pass onto a promising student one day and when Rey hid it.... was I meant to have this Lightsaber?? I then looked up at Rey "A thousand generations of The Jedi Order lives deep inside you now Adrian" Rey told me "But this is your fight" she told me "You will take both sabers to the Nether Realm and destroy Shad with them and save your father and your timeline" she told me then I got up "I can't get there, I don't have a portal to the Nether Realm, I don't have a gem to weaken him, I can't do it without those" I told Rey "Without a gem, I can't defeat him, he'll be too strong for me, without that gem, I don't stand a chance against him" I told her and she smiled "You got everything you need" she told me, on my Master's orders, I laid down on the lower deck in a hammock in the ship my family had arrived on and closed my eyes, I had given away too much of my life force during the healings, I needed a brief rest, or I'm getting nowhere fast, Rey never pushed me, or told me how she expected me to get to The Nether Realm, just gave me space to think. It was exactly what Finn would have done, 'What would Finn do?' I flipped onto my back sighing, I have been constantly asking myself that exact question for months. What would Finn do? But this time the answer was way too easy to figure out, Finn would leave this island and get right back into the fight. In fact, he definitely wouldn't have come here to this island to begin with, even though Alina and I are directly descended from unspeakable evil... so was Rey, when she was given the choice, she had to leave to face her fears and defeated her grandfather. How could I not do any less? I finally gave up on resting and I went to the boat I destroyed and saw... a cargo hold? I then pulled a knapsack out and looked through it and... I pulled out the gem Kylo Den had...

I then examined it.. and it's real.. I then remembered what the scroll said and what Travis said "Two were discovered..." I thought out loud then I attached both Lightsabers to my belt and I told everyone I'm going back and I'm going to complete my training to become a Jedi, we then sailed to Bright Port so I can use the portal to the Nether Realm so I can kill Shad as a Jedi, I just hope I'm ready.. I've come this far.. I think I'm ready.
