Chapter 18

"Good morning, Elsa." Corbyn greeted Elsa and gave a kiss on her cheek.

"Good morning, Corbyn." Elsa smiled.

"Where's Eliza?" Corbyn asked, smiling. But his smile turned into a dead glare as he saw Zach.

"Hey, mate." Zach smiled at him.

"What is this manwhore doing here?" Corbyn asked Elsa, keeping his dead glare still on Zach. "Couldn't you keep him away from Eliza after what he did to her?"

"I came for Eliza." Zach said ignoring his rudeness towards him.

"For Eliza?" Corbyn laughed coldly. "So you can break her heart again?"

"I came to win her again." Zach answered.

"She's not a trophy for you to win." Corbyn said in a high tone.

"Why don't you go and keep sucking that Lily slut's face like you did that night?" Corbyn asked coldly. "A slut and a manwhore. What a lovely couple are you and Lily."

"Don't talk to her like that." Zach said, raising his voice this time.

"Aww...Did that hurt you?" Corbyn asked.

"Lily is my best friend." Zach said.

"Eliza is my best friend." Corbyn pointed out. "You didn't see how much pain you caused her that night. Oh I totally forgot. How could you see? You were busy kissing that slut."

"That was a mistake-" Zach started but Corbyn cut him off as he grabbed Zach's neck and squeezed his neck cutting off his air supply.

"Mistake? Is hurting her a mistake for you?" Corbyn asked, adding more pressure making Zach gasp for air.

"Oh my god. Corbyn stopped it. He will die!" Elsa yelled trying to stop Corbyn.

"What's happening here?" Eliza asked as she showed herself up to see Corbyn's hands cupping Zach's neck who was gasping for breath. She also noticed Zach turning into purple.

"Corbyn, let him go!" Eliza yelled as she ran to Corbyn.

"I can't!" Corbyn yelled back as he continued to do what he was doing.

"He's your friend. He'll die if you won't stop." Eliza reminded.

"I don't care." Corbyn said.

"Please, at least for me." Eliza begged. "Let him go."

Corbyn sighed before he let go of Zach making him drifted into the floor as he took a large breath.

"Are you okay?" Elsa asked Zach who leaned over the wall and stared at Eliza weakly.

"I'm sorry, Eliza. But I didn't want to see him hurting you again." Corbyn apologized to Eliza.

"That's fine." Eliza said before she pulled him into a hug. "But don't do that again."

"I'm so sorry." Corbyn apologized once again as he wrapped his arms around her.

"I'll leave now. I just came to check up on you." Corbyn said as they pulled apart.

"Okay." Eliza nodded and kissed his cheek before Corbyn left.

"Oh my god. That was crazy." Elsa said, shaking her head slowly.

"I'm gonna call Jonah and say everything." Elsa said before she walked to her room.

"No doubt why people called you a trouble magnet." Eliza said as she turned to Zach who was still on the floor.

Zach chuckled as a response.

"Are you okay?" Eliza asked him.

"Yes, I guess." Zach nodded, rubbing his neck.

"Okay then." Eliza said and tried to walk away.

"You hugged the person who tried to kill your boyfriend and then you kissed his cheek. I'm hurt here and you just walk away, huh?" Zach pouted, making her stop and look at him.

"What do you want me to do now?" Eliza asked, making Zach's face brighten.

"Anything you like to do with me." Zach winked before a smirk appeared in the corner of his lips.

"Why can't you go to hell?" Eliza rolled her eyes.

"I can go if you like to join me." Zach smirked.

"Why the hell am I even talking with you?" Eliza asked.

"Because you're in love with me." Zach said holding his smirk still.

Eliza rolled her eyes.

"Why the heck didn't you try to stop him? You just let him squeeze your neck. Did you have a death wish?" Eliza asked, making Zach's smirk fade away.

"I kind of deserve it." Zach said before he sighed.

"You're an idiot." Eliza said before she started to walk away.

"I love you too." Zach said, making her stop and look at him before she resumed to walk away.

"I will do anything to make you run back into my arms even though how much pain it will bring me in the process." Zach said to himself at the way where Eliza went. "I will never give up on you, love."

Zach tried many things to get her back. But no use. However he didn't give up on her after every attempt.

It was nighttime.

Zach yawned and walked into the room. He groaned as Eliza threw his pillow and a blanket to his face.

"Tonight also?" Zach asked.

"Yep." Eliza said popping the 'p'.

"It will be your fault if I end up with a back pain tomorrow morning too." Zach warned her.

"Can I sleep on the bed?" Zach asked.

"No." Eliza shook her head.

"Please." Zach begged doing his best puppy face.

"Fine." Eliza gave up, finally making a smile spread on Zach's face.

"Yay!" He happily jumped into the bed beside Eliza.

"Don't think that you got me. Okay?" Eliza said. "Obey the rules or I will kick you out of the bed."

"What rules?" Zach frowned.

"Just a simple rule. Do not put your paws over me." Eliza said and placed some pillows between her and Zach dividing the bed into two equal parts. "These are the barriers. Do not cross your boundaries."

"But those boundaries can't stop me from making you mine." Zach said, lowering his face to hers as he crossed the pillow barrier.

"Back off or you'll end up on the floor." Eliza warned with a dead glare making Zach frown and go back to his side.

"Goodnight, babe." Zach said as he stared at her.

"Goodnight." Eliza said closing her eyes to ignore his gaze on her.
