"This is the last shop. Let me check in this shop also." Eliza spoke to her twin sister through her phone as she entered the last gift shop.
"Remember, it must be unique." Elsa reminded through the other line.
"Sure thing." Eliza said and hung up before her twin sister speaks anymore.
She walked observing the ornaments on the shelves carefully trying to choose one.
Finally, her dark brown eyes stopped at an ornament which was a kind of looking like a guitar. It was not like the other ornaments in the shop. It was unique, special and it was...PERFECT.
A smile traced all over her face as she quickly made her way over to the ornament between the plastic bunches of red roses kept beside her way.
"You're my savior." She said before taking the ornament to her both hands. But her smile dropped as she felt another pair of hands holding the same ornament at the same time. She looked at the owner of the other pair of hands and saw a blond boy who was looking at her with the same confused look on his face as hers.
"Thank you for helping. But I can hold it by myself." Eliza said and waited till the boy took his hands off of the ornament. But he never did.
"Who said that I was helping you?" The blond boy asked. "I'm gonna buy this."
"Yeah, that's gonna happen. This is mine. I'm the one who's gonna buy this. Besides, I saw this first." Eliza said and moved the ornament closer to her side.
"I took it first. So, this is mine." The blond boy said as he moved the ornament to his side.
"Please, I need it for my sister's anniversary present." Eliza reasoned with her unavoidable puppy face as she slowly moved the ornament towards her.
"I need this for my brother's anniversary present." The blond boy reasoned and moved back the ornament towards him.
"I walked into twenty freaking shops to find this." Eliza argued pouting.
"I walked more than you ever imagined to find this. So, this is mine and that's it." The blond boy argued back making Eliza send a glare at the stranger boy.
"Do you know who I am-" The blond boy started.
"Who cares, huh?" Eliza asked uninterestedly.
"This is mine." Eliza smirked and snatched the ornament from his hands and wrapped her arms around it before keeping it closer to her chest making the boy useless. "Let's see how you're gonna take it from me now."
The boy's jaw dropped as he stared at the girl for a second thinking about his next move. And then an imaginary bulb popped above his head making him smirk this time. "Fine. Let's see who's gonna buy this first." The blond boy said to the girl before he ran to the cashier making Eliza's jaw drop this time. She didn't waste her time thinking because she automatically ran after him to pay the bill before him.
"I need that guitar like an ornament." The blond boy said as he unfolded the dollar bills towards the cashier.
But Eliza made her way at the time and handed the dollar notes to the cashier before him making him look at her. "Hey, Mr. Jonson. How are things going?"
"Things are going well, Miss Saltzman." The cashier said smiling at the blonde girl.
Blond boy looked at her, raising an eyebrow as he heard her surname. But he shook off the feeling and focused his mind back on the ornament.
"Sounds great." Eliza excited.
"Anything interesting happening in your life recently?" The cashier asks.
"My sister's anniversary is tomorrow. She needed me to buy a gift for his boyfriend."
"You came to the right place." The cashier said and took her money.
"I gave you money first." The blond boy argued looking at the cashier.
"It's her sister's anniversary." The cashier reasoned and handed her the balance cash. "My daughter loves her sister so much."
"All right." The boy sighed looking at the ornament which was put into a bag by the cashier.
"But I need to take a selfie with you. I'm a huge fan of you." The cashier said as he handed back the bag with the ornament to Eliza who looked between them with confusion.
"Why not." The blond boy nodded making the cashier smile.
The blond boy took a selfie from the cashier's phone and handed it back to him.
"Is he a celebrity or something?" Eliza asked from the cashier.
"You don't know about him?" The cashier asked Eliza to make her look at the blond boy who proudly signaled her at the cashier who started to introduce the blond boy's identity.
"He's Cor-" The cashier started.
"This idiot can't be a celebrity. Look at him, he isn't even handsome enough to be a celebrity." Eliza laughed before she walked away.
"Do I look that bad?" The blond boy asked the cashier, looking at the blonde girl who walked out of the shop happily with the ornament she just bought.
"Oh my god, Corbyn Besson is here!!" A girl screamed looking at the blond boy making everyone's attention towards him.
"Shit." Corbyn muttered under his breath before he ran out of the shop as his fans came after him.
He finally came to a stop as he figured out that he was out of sight of the fans who chased him. He sighed and continued to walk forward but suddenly he saw the blonde girl who he met in the shop previously.
"Hey." He greeted the girl as he caught up with her speed.
"Are you stalking me?" The blonde asked him.
"Oh, no. You forgot your money back from that shop." He said.
"What money?" She asked, looking confused.
"For the ornament!" He yelled and threw a few dollars at her as he snatched the bag with the ornament from her before he ran away from her with the maximum speed he could run.
"Hey! Stop, you asshole!" Eliza yelled as she ran after him.
Corbyn ran happily along the road with the ornament.
Eliza realized that she couldn't catch him if she ran after him. So she picked up another road and ran forward.
Corbyn turned back to see that Eliza wasn't following him anymore. So he slowed down and started to walk smiling at the bag with the ornament. But his smile dropped as he saw Eliza standing in his way blocking him.
"Idiot." She said before snatching the bag from him giving a dead glare.
"How did you come this fast?" The boy asked her.
"Now why should I say that to you, huh?" Eliza asked as her phone started to ring.
"Give me a second." She said as she took out her phone to see her sister's ID.
"Guess what I bought for you!" She exited as she answered the phone.
"Come home. I bought him a good gift." Her sister said, making her smile drop.
"What? Are you saying that I just wasted my time fighting with this idiot for nothing?" Eliza asked through the phone.
"What idiot? What fight? What are you talking about?" Elsa asked through the other line but Eliza hung up her phone angrily.
"Here. Keep this with you." Eliza said as she gave the bag with the ornament to the blond boy who was still standing in front of her.
Corbyn didn't waste time taking it from her.
"I owe you a favour." Corbyn said and looked up to see the girl walking away with an angry expression on her face.
