It was only a few minutes before the wedding. Eliza was standing beside Jonah looking nervous.
"You're nervous." Jonah said looking at her.
"Kind of." Eliza chuckled.
"Everything will be fine. Trust me." Jonah assured her as he gave her a hug.
"I hope too." Eliza said as they parted the hug.
"My sister's happy to have you." Eliza said and kissed his cheek making him smile.
"I know right?" Jonah chuckled as Elsa walked into the room.
"You're finally getting married. I'm happy for you. And this is totally unfair. You look totally hot from what I looked at my wedding." Elsa said, hugging her sister.
"Don't worry, love. You're beautiful for me anyway." Jonah winked at Elsa making her blush.
"Okay. You can share your private thoughts with her later Jonah. Not in front of me. It's gross." Eliza said, making a disgusted face.
"I'll be there, okay? Get ready for both of you." Elsa said and walked away before giving a quick kiss on Jonah's lips.
"It's time." Jonah said, looking at Eliza, making her nod.
"Shall we?" Jonah asked and offered his arm, making her wrap her arm in it.
"Ready?" Jonah asked her.
"Yeah." Eliza nodded.
The doors opened and Jonah escorted her into the function.
Everyone's eyes landed on them.
Eliza looked at the altar to expect Zach. But he wasn't there. Corbyn stood at his place making Eliza look around to find Zach. But he wasn't anywhere.
"What's wrong, Liza?" Jonah asked.
"Where's Zach?" Eliza asked.
"He isn't coming." Jonah said.
"What do you mean? Who the hell am I going to marry if he wasn't coming?" Eliza asked.
"Wait. Don't tell me that you didn't know that you were going to marry Corbyn." Jonah asked in shock.
"I didn't." Eliza shook her head as they finally came to the altar.
"Zach is an idiot. You can still choose what you want. You're still not too late. It's up to you." Jonah said, giving her a knowing look. "Let your heart choose what you really want."
Eliza nodded as she walked to her place.
Corbyn gave her a warm smile making her force a smile at him.
The Reverend began his homily. But Eliza didn't listen to her. She just lost in thoughts arguing about her decision.
She clearly had feelings for Corbyn. But she had something more for Zach. It was more than just feelings.
"Eliza?" Reverend's voice made her fall back into reality.
"Hmm?" Eliza asked as she looked at Corbyn who looked worried.
"Do you accept Corbyn Matthew Besson as your husband?" The Reverend repeated summarizing her long speech.
"I-I..." Eliza shattered trying to find words.
"Eliza, are you okay?" Corbyn asked in concern.
"No, I'm not." Eliza said and turned to Corbyn.
"I'm sorry, Corbyn. I love you and you're my best friend. I don't want to break your heart. But I love him more. I can't marry you. I'm really sorry." Eliza apologized, making the people gasp.
