Flufftober day 26 prompt: Kisses

It was after midnight as you lay there, simply waiting for sleep to take you, your boyfriend having already fallen asleep beside you, his soft snoring slowly lulling you to sleep, but the fear of someone or something lurking outside kept you up, the constant clanging of the branch against the window along with the wind blowling across the land, pushing up against the window, some of the stronger gusts blowing the air through the small gap in the window with a whistle. The simple sound sending shivers up your spine, "J-Jonathan," you fail to speak, your voice shaking out of fear, causing your words to stammer. You inhale deeply, trying to calm yourself only to be more shaken after the wind blew again, blowling the window open. Jonathan was awoken from his slumber and looked over to see you shaking out of fright. "Come with me, let me help. Also, let's sleep in a room with a window that'll stay closed."

Following him out of the room, you head down to the kitchen and hop onto of the counter, Jonathan walking over to you and pressing a kiss to your forehead, and another to your nose and cheek and finally to your lips, holding it for enough time to calm you down enough so that your body had stopped shaking. "Jonathan, you don't have to do this, I'll be fine if I can fall asleep." He shakes his head, "I'm makig sure you're calm and tired before we go back upstairs, I won't allow you to not get some sleep. But first, tea." You laugh quietly at the male, a warm smile on his face befire he kissed you again, rushing off to quickly get everything ready for your tea. You turn behind him and pass down two mugs, the one you always used when you were over and Jonathan's mug, he quickly puts fresh milk and sugar in them and goes to ready the tea leaves and water. He passed you your mug once it was ready, letting you sip away at it before taking your hand in his and bringing you upstairs.

The wind outside still howled as your crawled into the bed of the gest bedroom, cuddling up next to Jonathan as you both drank your tea, just the simple action of getting close to him adn your feel your body calm down even more than it already was, his body heat soothing your and his presence comforting you, your eyelids growing heavy with sleep. Quickly finishing off your drink, Jonathan takes the porceline from you hand and lays it on the table aside yours, the two of your shaing a kiss as you look out of the window, the wind blowling against the other side of the house and creating a stange but welcmoing calmness over the unseeable green grass of the lawn. Jonathan placed an am around you back, encouraging you to rest your head on his chest to fall asleep, which you gladly took the opportunity.

Sharing a finally kiss before laying your head down on the male and cuddling in was enough to calm you down enough to sleep, "I love you, (Y/N)." Those were the last words you had heard from the male as your mind was overcome by sleep, the simple phrase bouncing around in your mind as your brain entered the dreamy sleepy state, the only time it was pulled from it was when the sun was shining in through the wall sized window, the blue haired adult laying next to you tracing light cirlces on your back. You lay an arm over Jonathan's muscular chest and leaned up, pressing a kiss to his lips. "I love you, too, Jonathan."
