Eri ended up waking up from the noise of us reading out our letters. We finished reading out our letters so I looked inside the big box and took everything out of it. There were five boxes overall inside and four of them had names on and the other one had nothing on it. I also have the bag that Aizawa gave me before we left.
We all looked at our boxes and then at each other, debating what to do.
"Why don't we all go to different rooms and open them privately?" Hitoshi suggested and we all agreed. I went into our bedroom with Eri and we both took a seat on the bunk bed, I tucked her into the top bunk bed which was mine, and then sat down on the floor and stared at the box in front of me.
I sighed and used my pocket knife to cut the tape and then undid the ribbons and pushed them to the side to keep for later. I stared at the box and started to wonder if I should open it or not, What if it was something that could track us? What if we were set up? What if-
"Sissy... Stop mutteringggg~" Eri complained, I looked beside me and saw her sitting there patiently. "Im sure you'll like it!" I sighed.
"I can tell you, You'd love Shota." I smiled and she giggled.
"I wanna meet Shochan!"
"Of course you do. Now, Wanna help me open this?" I asked and she nodded her head quickly and I laughed.
I opened the box and on the top, I saw a small envelope and tissue paper under it. I grabbed the envelope and opened it, Some glitter falling out and Eri gasped, Picking it all up.
"My glitter!" I laughed at her antics and watched her pick up every tiny bit of the star and heart-shaped glitter and put it in a little box we got her a while ago to store little things she collected. I poured everything out of the envelope and saw some money and a note fall out. "Money!"
"Eri, Can you pick up the money for me?" I asked her and she nodded. She loved to help me with things so it was no bother for her to do it. She did collect it all while I read out the note aloud.
"Dear Hikari, I gave you your own money to buy anything you want. Spend it wisely alright? Love, Shota." I smiled.
"Eri, Why don't we all go shopping tomorrow and we can get you some things?" Her eyes lit up and nodded.
I took the tissue paper out and under it was all my plush toys. Eri gasped at the sight and I laughed while taking each one out one by one.
