I woke up to that familiar sense of loneliness. I looked to the side of me to find a note. I'm assuming it's from Noen.

Dear amore,

I'm sorry you couldn't wake up to my presence today, once again. I have a few things to get sorted out so I could spend the rest of the week with you. Again, I am truly sorry for the way things have been. I promise to make the rest of the week special.

I picked up my phone to find 46 missed calls and 108 missed messages.

Shit

Most of these calls where from Elena, telling me to come over as soon as I can. The rest were from the groupchat.

"What the fuck." I muttered to myself

I opened the groupchat to see everyone going crazy

Guys the police are

This was 8 hours ago....

I ran into the bathroom and took a 5 minute shower, and did my self care routine sloppily.

I slipped on some Nike sweats, a sports bra. And a grey zip up hoodie.

I grabbed my phone and dialed elenas number

She answered immediately

"Astrid, please hurry up I don't know what to do." She cried

"I'm on my way, I promise. What's goin on? Did Chris do something?" I said frantically while running down the stairs towards the elevator.

"Just hurry up please. It's important." She said and hung up

I pressed the floor 1 button and the elevator quickly closed.

When the doors opened up I was met with noens twin sisters, Avery and corlina.

"Woah, woah. What's the rush. Is everything okay?" Avery said.

"I need to get to chris' house." I said frantically

"Here, take my car. His house is 5 minutes away. Just follow the rode and make a right. Tell the guards who you are and they'll let you in." Corlina said, handing me Mercedes keys.

"Thank you so much." I said

"Anytime." They both said

I ran to the front doors and opened them. I was met with security. I tried to move around them but they just didn't budge.

"Come on, pleas it's an emergency. I need to get to chris' house like now." I said.

They didn't budge

"Oh my god, what the fuck is that." I said

They looked In the direction I was pointing in and I made a run for it.

I spotted a while Mercedes Benz in front of the driveway. I unlocked it quickly and hopped in. The security was right on my tail

I sped off Into the direction coralina told me to go into.
