Hawaii looked around at the group of states in the room. Texas had invited them all over for some gaming because it was the first day of spring break. But, she had left the room a while back and hasn't come back, so Hawaii was worried. "Hey, Tennie?" "Yeah Sunshine?" "Well, Texie disappeared a while back during the game, but she hasn't come back yet..." Tennessee sighed, then patted the girl's hand. "She'll be fine Sunshine, she just disappears every once in a while to deal with stuff." Hawaii tilted her head, confused, so Tennessee decided to elaborate, knowing Hawaii was pretty new to the group. "She has some mental issues from multiple different things, so sometimes she just needs to go to her room and cry. It's pretty normal for her, so I only get worried when she's gone for a long time, like three hours."

But soon, two hours passed. Then three, then three and a half. Tennessee and Hawaii were both worried, so they went up to Texas' room to see if she had fallen asleep or something. But, when they got there, Texas wasn't anywhere to be seen. After looking for a little bit, Tennessee found her in a blanket pile in the corner of the room, crying. "Texie?" Texas looked up at the girl and felt fear, simply fear. "Nononononono, I'm not going back to that stupid union, leave me alone!" Tennessee looked surprised, she knew Texas wanted to secede every once in a while, but she didn't know it was like this. But, her concern was assuaged when Texas made which union she was talking about clearer.

"I don't care how much 'freedom' it gave us, I never want to go back to that Confederacy. All it does is make people hate us even more than normal. All of the Northies want to kill us!" Tennessee sighed heavily, then stood up and walked to where Hawaii was, about five feet behind her. "Well, this is gonna be hard. Her terrors today are about the CSA so no one from the South or the North could comfort her. Both would make her feel too scared. The North states she would be convinced were trying to kill her and the South states, I don't even know, so it could be something way worse. Thankfully, I guess, I've actually experienced this before 'cause that whole situation was traumatizing, so I kinda know what's happening this time." Tennessee started to list off the people at the house today, seeing if any could help, but soon realizing all were either on the Southern or Northern side during the war. Until, she remembered something. "Hey Hawaii, you weren't on either side during that war, maybe you'd be able to comfort her?"

Hawaii looked a little scared at the prospect, but steeled herself and walked over to the shivering state. Tennessee left the room to give the two some privacy to talk. "Um, Texie? Can you come out from the blankets?" Texas peered up from her blanket pile and didn't recognize the girl in front of her. But she felt like she could trust her. Slowly moving a few of the blankets, Texas sat up a bit, but her posture was still a bit slouched. That's when Hawaii noticed, Texas' eyepatch was missing. She almost gasped when she saw the wound, but didn't want to frighten the girl more. Quietly reaching up, she moved the girl's hair out of her face and brushed it out a bit. She quickly went to grab the girl's hairbrush off of her desk, then returned. Hawaii started to brush her hair and it seemed to calm her a bit, but soon, Texas was hit with another wave of traumatic memories, this time from WW2.

Texas cried more, then froze when reliving a certain memory.

All the states had been hanging out, a little on edge from all the war stuff in the world, but still mostly fine, considering no one had attacked them yet. They had also allowed some of the territories to join in the fun, so Hawaii and Alaska were also there. Everyone just talked for a bit, but soon Hawaii screamed. Everyone looked over to see her coughing up blood, nearly choking on it all. Everyone panicked or froze, not knowing what to do. America soon came to see what happened and quickly helped out the little state. Some the sight traumatized more than other, but Alaska and Texas were sitting the closet to the girl when it happened, so they saw all the gruesome details of it.
