So, new_guys requested that I explain the whole Texas having her eye shot thing. They also requested how the other states reacted to Texas joining the union, but I'll make it two separate oneshots for simplicity's sake.

Also, Texas was initially one of Mexico's states before the revolution, so she's referred to as a state, k?

------------------

"And would you look at that, I've won this round." Mexico smiled maliciously at the dead soldiers in front of him. Some were Texan and some were Mexican, but the still-alive Mexican soldiers were shooting any Texans that could still move. Stepping forward, the country kicked a dead soldier, glancing around for the missing, rebellious state. "Oh Texie~! Won't you come out?" Crunching the skull underneath, Mexico started stepping through the piles, heading towards the inner section of the mission.

Glancing around the corners, the country traversed his way through, listening for any sounds. After a few minutes, a small whimper tipped off the location of the state. "Oh, there you are Texie!" Said state whipped her head around, looking at him with a sense of pure terror. She couldn't help a few tears slipping from her eyes, but she tried to keep up a strong façade. Mexico took a step forward, making the state press against the wall. "Texie, won't you please come back? Some of the others miss you." He held out his hand, a look of genuine concern on his face. But, layered deep underneath was a sense of cocky pride.

Texas slapped away the hand, scooting back into the corner even more. Mexico looked offended, but he had expected the reaction. Reaching forward as quick as he could, he grabbed the state's hands. "Oh, well, if you're going to be like that." Dragging the state to the front of the mission, he kept her squirming arms under control. Once he reached the front, he was happy to see the sight. However, Texas was borderline shell-shocked.

The Mexican soldiers had piled the dead bodies of the Texan soldiers in a pile, getting ready to burn them. Only a few were left out front of the mission, so the soldiers dragged the remaining few to the pile. "Now, Texie," Mexico started with malicious intent. "You are going to watch this, alright. Watch as your soldiers are decimated, any record of them erased from history, no proper burials. They aren't worth it." Mexico forced Texas to sit on the ground nearby, her hands tied behind with some leftover rope.

-----------

"You know what, Texie? That wasn't good enough. Sure, burning your soldiers was fun, but not nearly enough." Texas glanced up horrified at the country. Mexico stared ahead, an uninterested expression on his face, despite holding the torch that set her people on fire. 'I knew he was a sadist, but what else could I give?!' Mexico turned his head, then glanced down at the horrified state. After staring for a few moments, his mouth curled into a malicious grin. Kneeling down, he grabbed her chin in his thumb and index finger. Quickly moving her head back and forth in his hand, he looked like he was analyzing something. "That'll do nicely."

Standing back up, he stepped away from the state, heading towards a pile of guns. Grabbing up one, he turned around to look back at the terrified girl. "Now, I know you can't die from this, unfortunately. However, this will injure you enough to satisfy me for now." Pointing the gun at her right eye, Mexico fired.

"AHHH!!" After the pistol fired, she doubled over in pain, trying to reach up to clutch the injured eye, but her hands were still tied back behind her. Mexico let his gun fall to the ground, then turned around, satisfied with the amount of pain inflicted. Walking away, the state was left to writhe in agony, tears pooling up in her, now, one good eye. Curling up into the fetal position, she laid on the ground in pure pain, waiting for someone to help out.

-------------------------------------------

Well, that was fun. Part two with the states reacting to her joining the union will be out soon.

Adios!
