Another Draco Malfoy fan fic

Lunch

The first quidditch match is in a week and Harry Potter is a first year quidditch seeker in Gryffindor. It makes no sense. I just mean that Potter is the only kid at Hogwarts with glasses. Dumbledore and some other professors also wear glasses but that's just to prove that they're old. How can the only child at Hogwarts that needs help seeing clearly be the same child who has the best eyesight and broom skills in Gryffindor. They can't be that bad. Which means he got on the team because he's Harry Potter or because everyone in Gryffindor is just mental.

I'm not even mad that a first year is seeker I'm just mad that Harry Potter is the first year that is seeker. Although there are ways he could help. His glasses could be rigged with some sort of spell that lets him see the snitch, for all we know.

"What are you thinking of?" Luna asks.

"Just Quidditch, do you think I should try out?" I say.

"I think you should do what makes you happy. Bread?" She says handing me a loaf.

"Thanks Luna, I don't know why people call you loony. I think you're just lovely," I say taking the loaf.

"Well Luna may think you should try out, but I think you should start staying out of trouble," Fred says.

"I think you're just scared I might beat you," I counter.

"Right you are Ash. My brother is a blundering fool, and it doesn't get much better when you're around," George says.

"Well ummmm, all right you've convinced me. I'm staying out of the quidditch scene this year. Besides if I happen to make it onto the team it'll give the Cho Chang fan club a refresher on why they should hate me," I say.

"That's all right, I'm sure Freddy here will protect you," George says.

"What does that mean?" I ask George.

"Just that my brother would gladly spend all his time with you. For the greater good of course," George says.

"I'm not sure Fred would be much help. Most of the stuff happens when they get together and vandalize my things, and boys aren't allowed in the girls dorms," I say.

After I say that I notice that Fred is blushing and Luna is smiling silently in her own world. I'm not sure what's happening but George's plan did seem a bit off. I just don't know how Fred could help more than he already is. After people started hearing about how I'm friends with the Wesley twins most of the Cho fans backed off. Mainly because most of them just worshipped 2nd years. Another reason is because Fred and George's fans are just better than Cho's. Cho has fans for breathing and being a pretty Ravenclaw seeker. Fred and George have fans because they pull amazing pranks and are just funny people with great personality. Cho's fans also don't want to be hexed or pranked by the twin's fans.

"Hi umm you guys are the ones that pulled the prank on flinch right?" An awkward looking Gryffindor asks.

"That's right Neville, do you want an autograph?" George asks.

"Ermmm I actually wanted to ask....if I could... If I could join you for your next prank on flinch. If that's ok with Silver's." Neville asks in so many different speeds and volumes I thought he was lagging.

"That's sweet of you Neville but I don't participate in the pranks involving flinch. He's already a squib and groundskeeper," I explain.

"How did you know he was a squib?" Almost everyone asks in unison.

"Well he's been here for a while and people talk. Don't tell anyone though because I know that he prefers being pranks by the twins more than being outed as a squib. Anyways Neville why do you want to pull pranks all of a sudden?" I ask.

"A few Hufflepuffs were making fun of me, said I'm a bit wimpy for a Gryffindor," Neville says.

"Hufflepuffs? Nevermind them, Neville there are tons of cowardly Gryffindors. Just because you aren't brave in the same ways as them doesn't mean you don't belong. Besides it's part of your charm, right Luna," I say.

"I think that you are already quite brave for asking to join the twins and Ash. But I think you should do what you want not what you feel you need," Luna say.

"Alright then it's settled Neville has one day to decide whether or not he wants to play pranks of not," I say.

"I think I'll just leave it to Fred and George. Even the idea of of doing any pranks was absolutely terrifying, thank you though. You too Luna," Neville says leaving.

"Ash you just scared away a budding prankster," Fred says.

"We all know Neville has better things to do. He could play jokes on people but he won't, I won't allow it," I say.

The rest of lunch was normal, the twins made jokes. Luna was just talking about random things that are happening and eventually we started talking about teachers. Professor Snape always seem so daunting and evil that I believe he's not. No villain except for Voldemort would make it that obvious. All of the professors seem pretty normal and loyal to Dumbledore except for quirrell but I see him as more of a squirrel than a snake. Wouldn't it be funny if he turned out to be a rat. The Bloody Baron on the other hand seems like someone with anger issues that would follow moldy voldy on a whim.

Who knows what if everyone here is secretly a death eater. Malfoy's parents are rumored to be death eaters. If that is true it would explain why he's constantly staring at Potter. Draco needs a better hobby, obviously maintaining top scores in class isn't chore enough for him.
