Another Draco Malfoy fan fic

The Common Room

I'm at the common room, the prefect was kinda annoying and apparently Cho Chang was popular so now half the kids here hate me. That's okay though, after all the worst they can do is hex me or kill me, and honestly I wouldn't mind. The stairs are nice and I like the stars on the ceiling. I think that's all, this is way more boring compared to what my parents described. They said the Ravenclaw common room was like a million stars shining so far away and yet so alive and clear you can almost touch them. I don't see that, there dots on the ceiling or maybe sky lift I don't know. The stars are moving but just because it moves it doesn't mean that it's an amazing phenomenon. Cho Chang proved that. I got to my room but now I'm just staring at the lock. Is there a lock? I don't know, perhaps alohomara. No that's not it, the door just caught on fire.

"You can walk in, it's a magic door. It senses your presence and opens for you," Luna says behind me.

She sounds nice a little dreamy, a little creepy but she's adorable so I'll let her kindness slide.

"Thanks, are you in the same room Luna?" I ask

"It appears so? Doesn't it?" She says that so whimsically that I don't place it as an insult.

She probably didn't mean it that way anyway.

We walk in and there are already two girls there, but judging by there Ravenclaw quidditch aesthetic they probably don't like me and worship Cho. I don't understand how she's this popular already or where they got the cardboard cut out of her, but I guess they were smart enough to figure it out. I don't know why but the most amazing thing I've seen so far we're the floating candles that didn't drip candle wax into your eyes and how fast their luggage system works. Wow, I'm supposed to be a pure blood and that's what surprises me. Too bad I only learned how to create spells and basic survival skills like differentiating poisoned food with regular food.

I start to unpack my bags but after glancing at the other girls I think it would be better if I locked my stuff in a vault. Luna's side looks nice though, she has a lot of quibbler articles which are one of my favorites and a few other books and fun things. She's nice and at the very least I made a friend, a good one too. That Malfoy character probably wouldn't have even shared his article on the best muggle ice cream's to feed bow truckles anyway.

Apparently those girls really didn't like me because they spelled all of my clothes. So now I only have shirts and robes with Cho's face on them. Of course I'm not stupid so I just undo them.
