Twenty-Two

Finally! I was back in South Korea. I stood outside rocking back and forth in an effort to keep warm as I waited for Lisa's car to pull up. Her car came into view a moment later. She jumped out quickly and we ran into each other's arms, I missed her more than I anticipated

"Welcome back stranger" she greets me breaking the embrace "Feels like I haven't seen or heard from you in weeks"

"Really? For me to me it felt like a couple days. It went by so fast"

"Glad you made it back safely. How were the flights?" She asked as we put my luggage in the trunk before getting in the car and taking off

"Good, hit some turbulence that gave me a headache about four hours from here but other than that good"

"Are you hungry? We can stop for a bite or do you want to go home first?"

"Home first, I want to shower and put on fresh clothes" I answered. She drove to the complex as we conversed about our vacations. Parking the car we drug my belongings in the building and soon arrived at our apartment

"Wow, James is going to be a husband soon. Are you excited?"

"I really am, I love Michelle. She and James are so good together"

"What's up with Tony, how's he doing?"

"He's good, he plans to visit this summer so we are both looking forward to that"

I unpacked all my clothes and stuff then hopped in the shower. The hot water felt amazing, warming up my stiff body. I lathered up and washed my body thoroughly twice before rinsing then stepping out. I brushed my teeth and put on facial moisturizer. Back in my room I dressed in black jeans with a white and blue sweater.

"I'm ready" I announced tying up my boots then putting on my coat

"Okay let's go" My internal clock was messed up so we didn't stay out too long. After dinner we got some sweets and went back home.

I was so sleepy, the traveling was catching up with me and I could barely stay awake long enough to undress myself. I crashed on my bed fully clothed minus my shoes. I woke up early, before dawn and got out of my regular clothes and climbed back in bed. Checking my phone I see several messages from my family responding to my safe arrival texts. Then I check my bangtan phone to see a few missed calls from the guys. I was going back to work in two days and wanted to use my free days to do absolutely nothing. I missed my guys but I was serious about us using time apart.

I wasn't exactly sleepy anymore but my body felt tired and lethargic so I just lied in bed until I eventually fell asleep again. The next time I woke up it was to the smell of bacon. My eyes fluttered open and I sat up with a good stretch then got off my bed making my way to the kitchen

"What's the occasion?" I asked seeing Lisa at the stove "You don't cook"

"Not that you'd know but I've been cooking a lot more in your absence"

"Oh. Well excuse me then"

"You're excused" she giggled pouring the eggs in the pan "I figured you'd be hungry since you slept for almost 24 hours straight so I made you some food"

On the table was crispy bacon, potatoes, cinnamon rolls, gimpab, eggs, rice and kimchi. She also had orange juice, banana milk and hot coffee to choose from to wash it all down.

"Wow Lisa, this looks amazing, thank you"

"Have a seat" I washed my hands first then sat down with an empty plate on the table in front of me "So this meal does have a hidden agenda"
