Accident

Raina's POV three weeks later

It's already been three weeks, and yes before you ask. Yes I have been avoiding them. Well trying to, I mean I have most of my classes with them. Hard to avoid them if I have the same classes with them. Ugh! No one ever told me this mate thing would be so hard! I sighed and made my way out of my last class. Jackson said he would meet me outside. I rolled my eyes and made my way down the hallway of the school. I'm just glad it's a damn weekend. Maybe I can catch up on my homework. I sighed and blew the hair out of my face. I made my way out to the parking lot. To where the car was. I wasn't in the mood to ride my bike today.

I put in my earphones. I listened to one of those catchy songs I like.

I quite liked this song. It was catchy. Jackson wasn't much of a fan of these songs, but I was. I ignored all the looks I get. Yeah, I get them a lot. I rolled my eyes and made my way over to my baby. I hummed to the song. I don't see how Jackson doesn't like it. It's catchy. I made it to my car and unlocked it. I put my backpack and books in the car. I then closed the door and waited for Jackson to come out from wherever he was coming from. I sighed and leaned my head against the car. I closed my eyes and let the words flow through me. Life is not easy for me. I'll tell you that.

"INA! RAINA! RAINA!", I heard my name being yelled. I opened my eyes and they widened the minute they did. A car was coming my way. Not just a car, it was a fucking truck. Oh shit! Holy shit! Why me?! I looked at the truck in horror. I couldn't expose myself here, but how am I going to save myself?! Oh yeah, dumbass! Jump out of the way! At the last minute I jumped and hit the ground hard. I felt and heard a snap in my leg. I screamed in pain. I heard a big BOOM! I was too scared to open my eyes. But then I felt familiar arms wrap around me. "Raina! Please tell me your okay, please", Jackson said in concern. I grunted through my pain and opened my eyes. I looked up at him. "It hurts", I whimpered. I looked down at my leg and I regretted it the moment I did. My leg was not in the best shape. It's not supposed to bend that way. My leg was facing upwards, on the side. I couldn't move it at all. I almost threw up when I saw the bone. Good thing it wasn't sticking out of the skin. But I don't think my bones supposed to be poking out like that. And then I saw the big ass glass shard in my thigh. Oh dear lord.

I almost fainted then and there. I was not one for blood. "Oh dear lord, why is it always me", I said as I gagged. I kept myself from fainting and throwing up. But then my head started to hurt. "Did I hit my head Jax?", I asked him, but my words were mumbled and mostly slurred. He looked at me. "Shit", he cursed. So I'm going to take that as a yes. Fuck!

He caressed my hair. "Okay little sis, I'm going to have to pick you up, and it's going to hurt like hell", he said apologetically. I sighed. "Figures", I said. I bit my lip and tried to keep myself from screaming when he picked me up. "I'm sorry I wasn't here sooner", he said. I lolled my head onto his shoulder. I gulped. "Not your fault Jax, at least I was able to jump out of the way before that big ass truck hit me", I mumbled.

My eyes sight was getting worse and worse by the second. Great. I could hear different voices all around me. Some sounded familiar. "Oh god, Raina", I heard some voices say. And then there were others. "We have to take her to Carlisle", the others said. But I couldn't put voices to faces.

And then I was put in someone else's arms. They were cold. "It'll be okay Raina, we'll get you help", one voice whispered to me, and it sounded like a freaking angel. Am I dead, is that why I can hear a angels voice. I heard the voice chuckle. "No, your not dead Raina. Your going to be just fine", the voice said. Did I say that out loud? I must have. Damn you. And then I felt my back hit a comfortable surface. I groaned in pain. Oh yeah this is great. Broken leg and huge ass glass shard in my thigh. Great way to end my day.

I could hear more voices. But I didn't recognize these voices. They were all mumbled and I couldn't understand what they were saying. "Your going to be just fine miss, can you tell us your name?", the one voice said. Well I was able to hear them, why couldn't I hear the others?

"R-R-Raina", I stuttered. "That's great Raina, your going to be just fine. We aren't too far away from the hospital", the voice said. Wait hospital? Did they just say hospital?

No I can't go to a hospital. I can't! It's too much a risk! I can't go to a hospital! I need to get out of here. I can't go to a hospital! I started to thrash and fight, I needed to get out of here! Now! I can't go to a freaking hospital! "Raina! Raina! Calm down, you'll be okay. Calm down ray ray, calm down", I heard Jackson's voice in my ear. I could feel his hands on me. I calmed down after hearing his voice. "Jax?", I mumbled. "I'm here Raina, I'm here, they won't get you, I promise. I'll make sure of it. Don't worry", he whispered into my ear. I calmed down after I heard his words. I knew he would never lie to me. He always protected me.

I could feel people poke and probe at me. But I'm pretty sure they knew what they were doing, I mean I'm in a ambulance right? I hope so. Or else I'm going to be so fucking pissed.

Why does shit always happen to me? Starting a new life wasn't supposed to be like this. Starting a new life was supposed to be fun and safe. Not this. And it shouldn't have to be this fucking painful. Ugh! I swear!
