Annie enjoys her first week back in school. She already has good grades. She studies a lot and she spends most of her time in the library. She sometimes writes to her parents a letter and she misses her cat.

Today she finished pretty late in the library, all the students are already in their room. She walk quickly in the corridor. She doesn't want to get in trouble. It's really dark, she can barely see. She hears a sound, she gets really scared but she turns around. Nothing. She continues to walk but she hears the sound again. She walks faster. Then suddenly the corridor fills up with fume. Her heart beats so fast. She starts running. Then just in a moment the smoke starts to outline a road, she thinks somebody wants to trick her so she doesn't follow the smoke. She runs to her room. She tries to calm down so the other won't notice anything. She changes into her pajama. Liv asks her if she's alright, she acts like she's fine. She can't sleep all night. The next day she looks really bad. Her friends get worried but she calms them down saying she just couldn't sleep well. Liv kinda knows that there's something that bother Annie.

The next night she sleeps well. She tries to forget the smoke and that cold, frosty feeling she felt.
She finishes earlier because two of her classes were cancelled. Liv, Lily and Will are still in classes, their class wasn't cancelled, so she's alone. She feels alone while walking through the almost empty school. It's pretty cold now so she went out in her gown. She's in the garden reading when she looks up at the forest next to the school. She always liked to go there, and now she feels compulsion to go there.
She enters the big, old forest.
