We fall down and we are expected to get up Shadows fade and light come to a stop Find your gold at the end of the sunrise Seek your answers from someone never wise The glowing arc of colors in the bright blue sky Can't tell us if one promise can complete our life Fight for love, fight even if not knowing why Why do you even bother now that the product is strife the peace of solitude sometimes got me thinking What if the world is never about everything If promises and love can't end your sorrows Get up and paint your own rainbows
Red, the color of love and loss Paint your soul until nothing is left untossed Orange, the flavor of life and hope Try to find your worth in the endless living rope Yellow, the feeling of happiness and perfect progress See the beauty of them as life regresses Green, the shade of seasons and change The world is fleeting, that's nothing so strange Blue, the waves of continuity and strength Ever so dandy, don't waste anything at length And purple, the time for beauty and seamless tomorrows Go on, then, stand up to paint your own rainbows
Don't be like me—a sorry excuse for a failure I stood like stone and hesitated just to make sure I am happy, content with the way I used to be Until I met love have I changed truly The nights spent talking and feeling with you Is like heaven, if you collect everything said true We keep it all inside our reckless minds Until the jars crack and joyful days die Of all things that could go wrong, why me? Why is it that everything can die beautifully? Under the fading moonlight, the path narrows But if it reaches you, I'll paint a thousand rainbows
I hope I taught you that love is fleeting Sometimes, even the love felt will soon be setting One thing I learned is that life is just beginning So live it and never stop exploring Go, grab the brushes and start painting A stroke here and brush there, paint your soul unending Never try to forget what colors meant Always—always find beauty in every moment Even if you fall and life doesn't get you up Fight for your soul, rise to the very top And until you can't know what already follows Rise up and continue to paint your rainbows

Moving on and growing on your own is one of the hardest things to do as a human being. I am glad that I get to write this poem as an encouragement for everyone out there that is struggling with abandonment and other struggles in their life.
So yeah. Rise up and start painting your rainbows, whatever and wherever they may be.
