CARD 7.

the following days, taehyung went about his day as per usual, until he found out that jirae started going to the same classes and courses with him. within 2 weeks, she started getting closer to taehyung and is always the one taking over eunbi's position to be there for him. jungkook and yewon noticed how distant the two assassins were from each other because of jirae. eunbi just waited for a response from taehyung about that woman but it never came. until one day, she was sick.

she did not attend the school for a day. that day, she had a fever of 38 degrees. she was bedridden and could not even move. taehyung and jungkook went to class as usual. like always, taehyung was with jirae.

"taehyung-ah~" she called out to him sweetly.

the whole day, taehyung felt like something was missing. it was as if he was never content. he tried to put the past behind him and move forward with the jirae in front of him now but somehow, it just didn't feel right. every random topic that involved eunbi, jirae would cut him off and didn't let him finish. he wasn't used to that because if it was eunbi, she would always let him finish.

the bell rang and signalled that it was lunch time. as usual, jirae went over to taehyung and clung onto him like a leech. as they ate at the same cafeteria table. only this time it is more awkward since jirae is not even attempting to involve yewon in the conversation. it's always 'middle school this' and 'during middle school that'. all that was because they weren't in the same middle school, so yewon felt awkward. jungkook just kept quiet and listened. his fists were shaking from anger but he calmed down the moment yewon put her hands over his'.

"yeah anyways, can i come over? we need to discuss the project together," she said nolochantly.

jungkook and yewon looked at taehyung but all he managed to do is look down at his plate. yewon decided it was there when jirae had crossed the line. she stood up, glared at jirae and walked off with her finished tray of food. jungkook just heaved a sigh.

"jungkook-ah, it must have been hard to care for two little girls like them right? i'd feel the sa-," jungkook interrupted her.

"can you just shut up and stop barging in on people's business? what is wrong with people," he grunted and harshly walked away.

the bell rang and the students of bal-geum university rushed out to celebrate their friday. jungkook and yewon had already arrived home and cared for eunbi. moonbin came to look after the sick eunbi for a while. when moonbin wanted to leave their house, taehyung came with jirae. seeing eunbi in a better mood because of someone else ticked something inside of him. after all, he should be the one to care for her.

moonbin looked over to jirae and heaved out a sigh, purposely bumping into taehyung's shoulders then. taehyung told jirae to wait outside while he takes what he needed. jirae didn't listen. she went in and followed behind taehyung. when taehyung entered the living room, he was greeted by eunbi. however, the brightness of the room didn't last when jirae came in whining that it was cold outside.

"what is she doing here?" yewon asked taehyung, glaring at jirae standing behind him, now linking arms with his'.
