CARD 4.

back at their rooms, they all chatted with their friends and communicated through the groupchat. their phones dinged synchronously. 'PAYMENT RECEIVED'. they cheered in their rooms. eunbi barged into the room where the boys were resting in their pyjamas.

"ya, my friends," she started off, "let's go for a picnic."

"i don't know.. though, i was just thinking about it," taehyung answered, unsure.

"can we just.." jungkook was cut off when yewon bumped into eunbi at the door.

"kookie will be joining us, right? our charming most handsome kookie? buing buing," yewon persuaded him.

jungkook's heart started beating fast. he didn't know when but he realised he started feeling this way when they spent more time in the basement prior to conducting the mission. the way she let jungkook rest his chin on her shoulders when she's teaching the formulas to him. her pouting and nodding. while laughing with eunbi, yewon's cheeks had a pinkish tint to it.

"i mean if yewon wants me to, i don't mind," he said softly, his mind changed from the persuasion.

with that, everyone cheered. seeing him smile and laugh made yewon's heart at ease. just a few minutes ago, taehyung suggested going out for a picnic just to bond more as a team but somehow he got jungkook to confess about the girl he was all over about. this distracted them from asking the girls out first. ironically, eunbi was thinking of it too. after much persuasion, she got yewon to persuade him and it ended up in this situation.

"alright its a double date then!" taehyung cheered and slung his arm around jungkook's shoulders on the bed.

jungkook looked over at taehyung and pushed his arms away, stating that he doesn't look at men romantically as a joke. that caused taehyung to retaliate and they wrestled each other. 'double date?' yewon thought. they closed the door behind them and went on as the boys' bickering became softer and softer. beside her, eunbi was cheering over the thought of them having spend some bonding time after a while.

night comes and they went about their day as per usual. after their classes, yewon and jungkook are seen together in the basement. yewon was supposed to tutor jungkook on the module that he wasn't sure about. they were borrowing the whiteboard for their formulas and discussions. jungkook was trying his best to understand what yewon was rambling about. his eyebrows furrowed and there was an obvious frown etched on his face.

"so you're saying," he got closer and examined her formulas that were repeated in the lecture beforehand.

he started repeating the words she said again, subconsciously getting closer and closer each time. by the time he ended the whole formula with his own explanations for his understanding, he never realised his face was so close to hers'. when he turned his head, her words blur as his vision focused on her lips and her eyes that sparkled everytime she talked about the human anatomy.

if he was being honest, he was never interested in biology. he was interested in singing, the ultimate reason why he started a youtube channel together with taehyung where they sang and made videos together. taking biology was just convenient and comfortable for him because she was always there. without seeing her, he felt anxious and worried. his mood lightened whenever she was around.  it was as if his soul always longed for her. however, for some reason, he always thought that she's better off without him.
