They went to the club next. Bayliy looked around in shock as the successful club she used to run with her brother be turned into a titty bar. There was a stage with a pole were the dance floor used to be, and couches where the tables were.
Girls walked around either with out anything on or with something that barely covering anything as sensual music played in the back ground.
Austin lead them to the office which was not changed at all. "So how do you like the place?" He asked, the light returned to his eyes but he still seemed a little sad.
"Wow! It's...uh really awsome" she said choosing her words carefully as she sat down across from him. "I know right, I got this place and made it great. You should of seen the place before" he said as he pulled out a bottle of vodka from his desk with two shot glasses.
"Who used to own it before?" She asked as he handed her the glass. Austin froze at the question, "the Lean twins you know them?" He asked a distant look in his eyes as is memories flashed in front of him.
Bayliy narrowed her eyes at him, the topic clearly made him uncomfortable. "No but aren't they dead?" She asked carefully analysing his reaction. Austin seemed even more tense then he was. His eyes snapped up to her, "how did you know that?" He asked his voice just above a whisper.
"It was all over the news" she said innocently, he seemed to relax after her reply. "You knew them?" She asked, "yeah but not that well" he replied. Bayliy clenched her fist under the table, his reply angered her. She wanted nothing more then to put a bullet in his head at that moment.
"Let's drink to that then" she said holding her glass up. He gave her a weak smile before clinking glasses. Bayliy watched him the whole time as she downed the alcohol.
"Sorry to interrupt sir there's someone here to see you" one of the guards said coming into the office. Austin sighed looking down at the empty glass in front of him. "I'll he back in a minute" he told Bayliy getting up and following the guard out into the club.
Bayily sat in the chair for a few minutes checking around the office for any cameras when she saw nothing she shot up from her seat. She grabbed a few blank papers and walked to the air vents that where in the office.
She opened the one at the top and pushed a paper in, then did the same with the bottom vent. She pushed everything back in place and sat back down at the desk pouring herself another shot as the door opened and Austin walked back into the office.
The papers were a simple test to check how aware of his surroundings Austin was. If he found the papers then she would have to find another hiding place for the cameras.
"So we are invited to a party Friday evening. I'll take you as my date, I already told my mother so she'll have an outfit ready for you" he explained as he too poured himself another shot.
"I'll be ready" she replied, "Good now let's go get something to eat I'm starving" he said getting up. Bayliy followed behind him. Her heart almost stopped when he brought her to the same restaurant he had taken her to on their first date.
"Hello sir your usual table?" The host asked, "Yes" repiled Austin. "Right this way sir" he lead them, Bayliy's heart beat picked up when she was seated at the very same table. But had to keep her composure.
"You come here often?" She asked keeping her voice steady, "yeah all the time. They have the best food" he replied handing the menu back to the waiter and ordering for both of them.
"Tell me about yourself Brooklyn" he said to her once they were alone. "What would you like to know?" She asked sweetly. "I don't know what was your life like before this? School? Friends? Boyfriends?" He asked with with a shrug.
"School was boring I just wanted to finish and get the hell out of there" she repiled honestly, "oh I know the feeling" he laughed. "I had a few friends but I always felt like they were only around me because of my father's money" she looked into his eyes.
"That's a shame, you're great company so far" he said as their drinks arrived at the table, slowly a forced smile spread across her face. "I wish everyone thought like you. There was this one guy who I really like, might of even loved him..." she said trailing off.
"What happened?" He asked truly interested in what she had to say, "he played me just to get to my father" she said coldly. "He wanted my father to take him as an intern" she said changing her tone to a more light tone.
Austin stared at her not saying anything as the waiter placed the food in front of them. "What about you, have you ever been in love?" She asked while cutting up the chicken that was on the plate.
Austin seemed to be daydreaming again as he paused before answering her. "I was once" he said finally, Bayliy's heart almost stopped. "What was she like?" She asked softly.
Austin smile fondly, "she was so different. She was beautiful, dark hair and eyes. She smoked, had an I don't give a shit attitude" he chuckled. "She was so feisty."
"I guess I did love Bayliy more then I knew at the time" he confessed. Tears welled up in Bayliy's eyes, "what happened?" She asked keeping the sincerness and softness of her voice.
The smile on his face fell and he sighed. "I had to choose between her and family. And family always comes first" he said a bit of regret in his tone.
"Yeah always" she mumbled.
