After my classes I head back to Hufflepuff to my room. Stella isn't back yet, which gives me some time to write a letter to my father - I'm sure he'd want to hear about my first real day at Hogwarts.

I write to him about Cedric and that I was making friends which I was sure he'd be glad to hear, and that I was sorted into Hufflepuff. I tell him about the classes I'm taking and that I loved herbology and divination, Professor Sprout and Trelawney were my favorites so far.

However, I left out the parts about Moody and the curses, and the Tri-Wizard tournament (he didn't need to know about that yet... unless he would be the one to bring it up), and I leave out... Draco.

Something about that boy brought out the worst in me, maybe it was just because he was the worst. And as much as I tried to ignore it I couldn't help thinking about how gorgeous he was with his platinum blonde hair and chiseled facial features and eyes that could cut through you.

Snap out of it. He wasn't good for you, he was just trying to make your life hell.

I finish writing my letter and go to the owlery to send it to my father (I asked Stella where it was the night before).

I send off my owl, Midnight, and head back to the Hufflepuff common room. There I find Cedric and Milo sitting on a couch together with Stella next to them in one of the big chairs. They see me and call me over. I walk over and sit next to Cedric, Milo was on the other side of him.

"Hey Delia, how was your first day of classes?" Cedric asks me.

"They were pretty good, I really like herbology and divination, but Draco and crew are unfortunately in my defense against the dark arts class," I say, rolling my eyes at the end.

"Classic Hufflepuff, but oi just your luck to be stuck with that prick," Milo exclaims.

"I know right, but oh I met these Gryffindors, Hermione, Ron, and Harry, who said they knew you Cedric and they invited us to a party in their common room tonight," I tell them.

"My girl is the plug that's what I'm talking about, a Gryffindor party," Stella happily chimes, giving me a high five.

"Prefect Cedric you're not going to be a party pooper are you?" I look at him with my eyes wide, in a playful mocking tone.

"Look I may be a golden boy but I can let loose and turn a blind eye from time to time," he smiles while nudging my arm with his elbow.

"Well good because I might've snuck some weed and alcohol here from the muggle world just in case the occasion arose," I say with a smirk crossing my lips.

"Where have you been all my life," Milo chirps and I giggle.

We all then head to dinner first before Stella and I go to our room to get ready.

I straighten my long blonde hair and do my makeup. Well Stella raids our closets picking out clothes for herself and an outfit she thinks I'll look in too.

She picks out high-rise puffy dark plaid shorts with tights and a white short sleeve blouse for herself, which complemented her style very well while she points out an outfit she's chosen for me: a fairly short black silk skirt and a tight deep red velvet tank top.

"Are you kidding me, I can't pull that off!" I say to her, confused.

"Then why do you own it?" She says, cheekily raising a brow at me. Fair enough...

I slip into the revealing outfit. I guess this will turn some heads.

Then we hear a knock at the door and Stella goes to open it. It's the guys. Cedric and Milo barely take four steps in and stop in their tracks, eyeing me from head to toe. I see Cedric's mouth open slightly, not blinking.
