I wake up the next morning. My head is still groggy from the alcohol the night before. I didn't want to think about last night, about what happened with Malfoy. Now that I was sober I felt somewhat ashamed of my actions.

In the shower last night I had cleaned up my knees some, trying to conceal any evidence, checking my neck, feeling lucky he hadn't left any lovebites there. However, there were slight fingertip bruises embellished into my hips from his firm grip.

Still lying in bed I look down and lift up my shirt, I run my fingers over the small purplish marks there. At least here no one would see them. But I know they're there, these subtle traces of him still left of my body. He wanted to make sure I couldn't shake the thought of him that easily.

I pull my shirt back down and finally get up from the safe haven of my bed. Stella is still asleep and I decide to let her sleep a bit longer as I get ready for the morning. I put on a yellow jumper and bluejeans then straighten my hair.

Stella is still not awake yet so I walk over to her bed and hold onto her shoulder, shaking her slightly, "Hey, wake up sleepy head" I sing-song.

"No, ten more minutes," she pleads sleepily.

"Stella wake up!" I now shout, throwing a pillow at her head.

"Nooooooooo, my head hurts," she groans reluctantly, pulling the blanket up over her head.

"Get up!" I shout again, moving to the end of her bed. I grab her ankles and pull with all my might. She lets out a shriek.

"Ah! Okay, okay, fine, I'll get up!" she moans, finally getting up.

"Someone's grumpy this morning," I remark.

"You'd be too if you were as hungover as I am. When you disappeared last night George challenged me to go shot for shot with him. I never can say no to a challenge," she says as she throws on some clothes and her robe.

"Ooof, yeah that might do it," I chuckle, "Let's get you some coffee and waffles," I say.

We head to the dining hall for breakfast, Stella groaning still most of the way. I pour us some coffee and we each take a waffle and some fruit. My eyes search the hall, glancing over to the Slytherin table, hoping that I wouldn't see him sitting there.

I didn't know what I would say, how I would react if I did.

Should I act like nothing had happened? Would he act like nothing had happened?

I was still confused as to why it had happened at all. He had made it pretty clear earlier yesterday that he didn't like me, being mean to me and all.

"Someone needs to put you in your place," those were his words last night, before he seduced me into submission.

Thankfully, Malfoy was nowhere in sight.

Stella and I finish our food before parting ways, heading for our classes.

My first block of the day was Charms. I was relieved again not to encounter Malfoy. I sat with some other Hufflepuffs and we talked some, becoming friendly.

After this I made my way to lunch. I walked into the great hall and saw my friends at our table. I make my way over and take the open spot next to Stella, Cedric and Milo seated across from us.

"Hey Delia, how's your morning been?" Cedric asks me, a kind smile lighting up his face.

"Hope you're holding up better than sourpuss over here," Milo remarks, pointing the end of his fork at Stella.

"For Merlin's sake, it was just a rough first period, I'm fine now. Yes, maybe I did yell at Lavender Brown to shut up because her shrill annoying voice wasn't helping my headache and then I accidentally knocked some baneberry into our potion causing it to explode in your face, but again I apologize!" Stella spews out, her tone still slightly aggravated.
