[Ch 1] Pardon?

«Oi, Naruto!». The boy, who was breathless, finally reached us. «Why don't we take a break? You seem really tired.» I proposed, helping him to get himself up. «Yes, please! Kakashi-sensei, can we?»

. . .

«Sensei! C'mon, stop reading these books, you pervert!». Naruto scolded him. «Hn, disgusting.» I heard my brother saying, looking away from us. Me and Sakura just sighed and sat on the grass.

«Tell me, Y/n.» «Hn?» I questioned. «I know what I'm going to ask you is a bit, you know- uhm... I-is Sasuke-kun interested in some of our classmates? Don't think anything weird! I was just wondering» She explained, panicking.

«Why are you asking me that? I'm not Sasuke, I don't know what he's feeling. How could I ever know, if we don't even talk to each other anymore?» We both got up, «I didn't mean to-» «It doesn't matter, just ask himself if you really want an answer.» and approached the boys.

«Shall we go now?» The four of us nodded and went back to the training. «About earlier-» «I said it's fine» «-but still!». Oh gosh, she's seriously getting on my nerves. «Sakura, which part of 'it's fine' didn't you get?» and with that she shut her mouth.

If they don't get you at the first time, then be direct and you'll see that they will. That's how the world works.

We're now doing a simulation of the Chunin Exam with Kakashi-sensei. We have to get out of the wood, trying to not be hit by the traps, which are scattered and hidden throughout the area.

However, to succeed in this mission the fundamental thing is teamwork, which unfortunately is difficult to have in our team: simply, there isn't enough trust between us. Yes, we are friends but, for example, Sakura and Naruto don't get along very well; moreover she often becomes distracted, as does Naruto. It's really a shame that they're like that, if only they were always concentrated and took the training seriously, they would give the best of them, taking advantage of their intelligence and skills.

About me and my brother, well- I don't know how, but in a certain way we can always collaborate, even without talking. It's a siblings thing, I guess.

Our meeting point is the Ichiraku ramen shop, as the sensei knows that Naruto after this training will get so tired that he won't be even able to stand on his feet. Oh, poor boy.

«Your orders?» Ayame, the girl who works here, asked us. We looked at Naruto and then back to her, «The same, please.» «Alright, so five bowls of miso chashu pork ramen, right guys?» we nodded and she went to the kitchen.

Sakura started taking non-stop to Sasuke, but it didn't bother me at all. I mean, why would it? It has always been like that, since the first day at the Academy, so I'm used to it. He had his eyes closed as if he didn't want to hear her voice.

Naruto was begging Kakashi-sensei to order another bowl for him, but of course he refused with the excuse “It will make you feel bad and you won't be able to participate at the Chunin Exam”.

Suddenly I got a flashback about some days ago.

It was still pretty early to go home, so Kakashi-sensei gave us free time to spend. While we were walking we met Konohamaru, Moegi and Udon, the kids who are friends with Naruto. Of course they're like him, noisy and sometimes even annoying, but they're children so I think it's okay. What's not okay is the fact that Naruto teaches them things they shouldn't know at their age, you know?

As the other days, they messed up with Sakura and when she gets mad, she can't control herself. While trying to catch the four of them, Konohamaru burst in on a guy I had never seen around. He was tall, had purple lines drawn on his face and, as you could tell from his headband, he was from the Hidden Sand.
