Chapter 12

I wake up to my phone ringing. I notice Taleah is still asleep so I take the phone call into the hallway.

" Who the fuck is it?" I ask and i hear an energetic Emma.

" Its me bitch and im on my way." She says and i check the time and its 11.

" Its too early for your bullshit." I groan and she laughs.

" Ill be there in an hour and a half." She says and hangs up. I walk back to Taleah and she is still sleeping. I sit down on the bed and i debate waking up Taleah and I decided against it. I walk to my room and i get into the shower. When i get out Taleah is sitting on my bed.

" Holy shit when did you get here." I ask and she checks her watch

" 5 minutes ago." She says and i nod

" Whats happening?" She asks

" someone is coming." I say and she raises a brow.

" Who?" She asks

" Uh Emma." I say and she nods.

" Why didnt you wake me up." She pouts

" I didnt want to wake you because you looked peaceful." I say and she sighs.

" Thats sweet but now i have less time to get dressed." She says

" Sorry." I say

" Its not that serious." She says kissing me gently. She tries to pull my to her on the bed and i shake my head.

" Not enough time." I say and she pouts

" I guess I'm going to get dressed then." She says walking to her room. I change into a pink sweater and some jeans. I feed Evelyn and i take Spencer out to the bathroom. I walk back in and i set Spencer in my room before Taleah comes back. She sits on my bed and pulls my into her lap.

" Youre sure there isnt-" she says and the doorbell rings. I kiss her lips before getting up and walking to the door. I open the door and there is Emma with an ear to ear smile and a bunch of stuff in her hands. I help her set the stuff down and i hug her and sit her down on the couch. Taleah comes walks up behind me and Emma waves with an even bigger smile.

" Its good to see you but whats so important about today?" I ask and she gasps.

" How could you forget?" She asks and i think for a moment.

" Is it a holiday?" I ask and she deadpans.

" Is it your...... birthday?" I ask and she shakes her head.

" Emma i really dont know." I say racking my brain.

" Its your birthday Dumbass." She says and i shake my head.

" No it isnt." I say and she grabs her phone.

" Its the 27th of November." She says and i check my phone and it is indeed my birthday.

" oh." I say and she nods.

" how did you get here?" I ask starting to get a headache.

" My car." She says and i throw a pillow at her.

" How did you get the adress." I say and she coughs.

" uh I don't think you wanna know." She says and i sigh

" Out with it." I say

" I turned your location on the other day and then I just had to do some extra work and here we are." She says and I sigh

" Im going choke you." I say smiling.

" How sweet." She says and i roll my eyes.

" Do you wanna see my pets!" I ask and Emma nods.
