The sounds of mice moving around me wakes me up. I sit up slowly being careful of my rib.
" This is a good reason to break up." I mutter. I hear footsteps and a huge man pops up infront of the door. He was built like Demetrius and he could crush me.
" Get up." He demands and I quickly stand up.
" Walk over here." He demands yet again and I walk to the cell door slowly. He opens it and he grabs my wrists putting handcuffs on them. I'm dragged down the hall to a room, he opens the door and it's the blinding white room from yesterday. The fat bald man is there and i sigh.
" Juet leave him there." The bald man says and he walks out the room shutting the door. He walks up to me and slaps me across the face.
" that felt like a wet noodle." I mutter. The man grabs my hair dragging me to a chair in the middle of the room.
" Yesterday you gave the wrong location isnt that right." The man seethes and I think for a moment.
" No I don't think I did." I say and he inhales deeply.
" Im not interested in your shit today. We don't even need you we have what we need. I can kill you." He says and my eyes get wide.
" Well in that case you can just set me free right?" I ask and he sighs
" Are you dumb, what possibly gave you the impression we're just going to let you go." The man remarks
" So why the fuck would i tell you anything?" I ask
" Well you see. If you give me what I want I might just let you go." He says giving me a smile.
" Fine what do you want?" I sigh.
" Adress. To the meeting place." He says and I groan.
" Okay so there is this cemetery on Wayne Boulevard and there are woods on the right side of it and if you walk 3 miles there is this tiny shack and if you give the right code you can go in and then they lead you to the basement and they meet in there." I say and he is dead silent before bursting put laughing.
" Do you think I'm stupid!" He laughs and I think hard.
" no?" I ask
" You have five fucking seconds before I snap your gaddamn neck!" He yells
" I just told you. I'm being dead ass." I say and he nods.
" Okay Mr.Deadass you can go out there and find this magical hut." He says and my eyes get big once again.
" Wait that wasn't in the deal." I say and he laughs.
" There was no deal." He mutters. He walks to the front of the chair and grabs me by the handcuffs yanking me out the chair. I'm dragged out the room and out the building and I'm thrown into the back of a Van. We drive for quite a while and the roads weren't very nice. When we stop the Van doors are ripped open.
" Im giving you an hour and a half to get to this "shack" if not we will find you and brutally murder you. Got it?" The man asks and I nod slowly. He takes my handcuffs off and I walk out the Van and I walk into the cemetery doors. The man gets back into the car and drives off. My mouth drops as they drive back the way we came.
" Well thats one way to get rid of me." I mutter. I know that there is no shed 3 miles from here but there are woods and lots of it. I walk until I get to the chapel and I walk behind it going to its back door which is covered by woods. The night guard leaves a key for me cause he knows I come here on bad nights and spend the night with my sister. I find the key on top of the lamp and I quickly open the door. I lock it and then deadbolt it before looking for the phone. I rummage through the drawers and I find it on top of the refrigerator in the lunch room.
" Come on come on." I mutter to myself trying to call Taleah. After the 4th right the call goes through.
" Who the fuck is this?" I hear Demetrius growl through the phone
" Please come get me im at the cemetery at Wayne Boulevard. I don't know where they went but they might be back soon." I plead and the line goes quiet.
" Demetrius?" I say into the phone and i hear Taleahs voice.
" Reed hold on were coming stay right there. Give me 2 minutes tops." She says.
" Please Hurry." I beg before hanging up the phone. I set the phone down and I wait. Waiting is the worst part because someone would burst through that door and murder me. Anyways it takes like 10 minutes to get here.i don't know how she shortened that to 2 but let's hope she makes it here before I fucking die. I hear a knock on the door and my heart drops. I creep to the door and through the peep hole I see Demetrius. I swing the door open and he steps back.
" I never thought I'd be this excited to see you oh my god." I exclaim hugging him. I hear someone run around the corner and I picked up.
" Oh my God Reed your alive." I hear Taleah say and I smile hugging her.
" Yes but I will not be for long." I say and she sets me down carefully.
" Are you-" she asks and I nod.
" Go we need to go." Demetrius says and Taleah picks me up like I couldn't walk for my self and I'm carried to a car like a bad bitch should be. I'm set in the car and Taleah sits next to me while Demetrius drives.
" I don't wanna be pushy or anything but can we go to a hospital or a local clinic im going to bleed out." I mumble and we go about 100 miles faster
" Reed take your shirt off." Taleah says and I take my blood soaked shirt off carefully making sure not to hurt my stomach.
" Baby-" Taleah says looking at my abdomen.
" Were Here." Demetrius says and I look out the window and it looks pretty legit. Taleah opens the door and carries me out the car and intonthe hospital doors. I'm set on a stretcher and wheeled into a room while Taleah holds my hand. A mask is placed over my mouth and nose .
" I want you to count down from 50." I voice instructs.
" Uh 1... fuck sorry. 50...49...48...47...46...45...44...43...." I stop counting as the room goes black.
