*beep* *beep* *beep*

I open my eyes slowly as the lights blind me. I look to the side and the chair is empty. I sit up slowly leaning against the bed. I squint at the clock on the wall and its four in the morning.

" Perfect." I mutter. I roll my eyes laying back down staring at the black ceiling. Someone walks into the room and I snap my neck to the right and its just a nurse.

" How are you feeling i was told your awake." The woman says cheerfully.

" You sound really nice but I feel shitty but like the shittest of shitty. Thank you for asking though." I respond and she doesn't reply.

" Alright so Reed before I leave I was wondering if you need anything." She says and I nod.

" Can I have a phone and some water please." I ask

" Of course give me a moment." She says and she walks out the room. She comes back with a bottle of water and a phone that she hooks up into the wall.

" Thank you." I tell her and she just smiles

" If you need me again just ring me." She says referring to a green button on the arm of the bed. I nod and she walks out the door. Its only been 15 minutes and I know Emma gets up and gets ready for work at six thirty and I really bored.

" This is so fucking boring I want to go home." I groan. The clock ticks and it just won't stop. I don't want to call anyone cause its so late early-ish. Taleah is maybe sleeping i don't know what she does in the early hours. I have no other people to call actually and thats kinda sad. But then again my dad is dead and my mom is in jail so that's a limited amount of people to call. I do know that one dude but he's creepy. I try to think of someone who i could possibly call to cure my boredom but I can't think of anyone. I decided that  I'll call Taleah in the morning and wait until Emma gets off work instead of calling her in a couple hours. I close my eyes trying to fall alseep but i open then again as the beeping is too loud for me. I close my eyes and I try to ignore the beeping and blinding lights. I decide its pointless and go back to staring at the clock. I blink and when I open my eyes back up its 9 am.

" What?" I say and I hear someone shift beside me. I look over and its Taleah. She's sleeping she looks peaceful which is good because one of us needs to be in peace. I try to turn on my side to no avail. I watch Taleah sleep for a while and I guess she felt me watching her staring at me cause she started to shift in her sleep. She wakes up and yawns.

" Reed is awake?" She mumbles to herself rubbing her eyes.

" Reed your awake!" She exclaims looking at me.

" I know." I smile reaching for a hug. She stands up to hug me but she stops mid leaning down

" Will that hurt?" She asks and I think for a moment.

" No." I tell her and she nods and hugs me cautiously trying not to hurt me.

" You can't imagine how much I've missed you, you've been asleep for ever." She says and I raise a brow.

" How long is forever?" I ask

" Its been a week bu-" She answers

" Wait! What do you mean its been a week?" I interrupt

" Well when you got here they had to rush you to surgery and adress your legs, and stomach. There was fluid in your lungs and then you had a broken rib,as well as a infection." She says and I think for a moment.

" Did you find Spencer?" I ask and she chuckles

" Yes Spencer and Evelyn are fine." She tells me and I nod.
