chapter 4: potions master

History of Magic. I was surprised when I found out that profesor Binns is the only teacher who is a ghost. I quickly found out that his subject is also the most boring one. This is why I had some time to think about the Potion tutoring. I decided to ask Malfoy about it right after Care of Magical Creatures, which was after History of Magic.

I really enjoyed Care of Magical Creatures with Hagrid. It has already ended and everyone was going back to the Castle. I told Hermione I will catch her in the Hall and came up to Malfoy.

"Hey, can I talk to you a minute?" I tapped his shoulder. He turned around. Grinning, Blaise quickly went to the castle on his own, leaving us alone.

"Oh, it's you," he didn't look pleased, "What do you  want?"

"Umm, I just wanted to ask you about our tutoring. When are we willing to start?"

"Ah, about that...," there was a pause for him to think. "Meet my tonight at 9pm in the astronomy tower. And don't be late!"

I was about to go head to the Hall when I remembered: I don't know how to get there. I ran after Malfoy.

"Wait!"

He turned around once again, looking irritated.

"Can you tell me the directions to the Hall?"

"Yeah, just go throught that corridor and then turn right." He had a stupid smile on his face.

"Umm...thanks?"

A few moments later I was to find out that the directions he gave me were wrong.

"I had to ask a ghost." I admitted annoyed, taking a sip from my tea.

Hermione and Ginny kept laughing. Harry and Ron joined us and took their seats. "What's so funny?"

Ginny quickly explained how Malfoy had shown me the wrong way which caused me get lost and show up at lunch twenty minutes late. I did notice how she was blushing whenever Harry's around.

"Remember, Malfoy is not to be trusted," said Ron, putting some cherries in his mouth. Hermione shot him an irritated stare.

"Oh, believe me, after what happened today, I know," I was highly irritated.

"You will have to put up with him for the entire year though," Ginny remarked with compassion. "As you will see him a lot during your tutoring sessions."

I sighed, "I know".

After lunch we had Charms and Transfiguration. I could honestly say that profesor McGonagall was my favorite teacher. Head of the Gryffindor House, she was srict, but fair. I was relieved that I didn't have to put up with Malfoy that day so much. Oh wait— I forgot about the tutoring session. I let out a sigh.

"You're late" Malfoy greeted me as I stepped into the Astronomy Tower.

"Sorry, I couldn't find the way. Maybe if someone told me the right directions it would be easier" I shot back.

"You often get lost," he stated, "That has to do with something"

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying you're stupid."

I shot him a furious stare. He did nothing but smiled mockingly.
