blanca's pov

Malfoy and I went to the hospital wing, my arm around his waist, both saying nothing.
People were looking at us, confused. We finally reached hospital wing and I carefully helped him lay on the bed. Mrs Pomfrey furrowed her eyebrows, but said nothing. Thankfully.
I noticed he was still bleeding.

'Miss Davis,' Mrs Pomfrey gave me a gauze, 'Could you hold it to his nose to stop the bleeding?'

I took the gauze and did what she told me to. I felt gentle shivers as my hand slightly touched his warm cheek. I looked at him with compassion, wiping away a single tear that was running down his cheek. There must be something in his eyes because as soon as our eyes locked, I couldn't feel the anger anymore.

While I was lying on the bed in the hospital wing, Blanca was sitting on my bed right next to me, with her soft hand gently touching my cheek. I didn't understand. I was a total jerk yet she was still here, taking care of me. I was furious with myself. Despite everything, I knew I was to harsh and decided to change it.

I found myself staring at her, and she obviously noticed that as well as she quickly glanced away. Wait— was that a blush? Nevermind. She should be hating me.

'Why are you still here?'

She looked at me, confused. 'Wh— What?'

'I was a total jerk yet you still take care of me,' I looked at her attentively, 'Why?'

At first, she didn't say anothing. But then, she looked me in the eyes. She looked at me, with those dazzling, blue eyes.

'Because everytime I look at you,' she started, 'I don't feel anger anymore. I feel compassion instead.'

The words just blurted out. I got up and was about to leave when he called me once again.

'Blanca?'

I turned around. 'Yes?'

'When I said sorry, I really meant it.'

Days passed. The news spread very quickly so within days everyone knew that I punched Draco in the face, some people were even congratulating me. I was acquiring the knowledge from the previous years quite quickly - Hermione and I have already done everything from first two years. On the other hand, I wasn't doing very well in Potions. I was pretty sure it was Draco's fault - both during tutoring and actual lessons we were both shouting at each other; he would tell me that I'm doing everything wrong but instead of teaching me, he would do it himself so that I knew he could do it. I must say, however, that he really did know what he was doing and all I could do was just stare at his locks of blond hair falling over his forehead while he was adding ingredients to the... wait. WHAT? No, it's just... He's just... smart. Yes, he actually happens to be very intelligent. And I must say that Potions weren't such a disaster anymore as Snape didn't torture me as much as he used to before sitting with Draco.

My Gryffindor friends and I were sitting at the Gryffindor table, enjoying our breakfast when suddenly, owls started flying into the Hall. I was a bit surprised when two owls threw me two envelopes.

'And I thought she forgot,' I sighed as I opened the letter from Professor McGonagall.

'About what?' Ginny asked.
