"Another round and a sprite!" Rose hollers to the bartender. He looks at her cleavage and instantly gets to work before sliding us the drinks and telling us, "It's on the house." I sip my sprite and survey the dancing people. "You sure you don't want a drink babe?" Kristen asked.

I shook my head. Bad things happen when I drink. "I think I'm gonna go dance!" I shout over the music and Rose and Kristen exchange a smile. I knew they were making progress. I slip into the mass of grinding bodies and try to feel the music. Song after song flashed by and before I knew it, he wasn't even a thought.

"Ava?" Someone shouted in my ear. I turn and gasp when I see their face. Bradley. I hadn't seen him since my eleven birthday when he moved to Iceland. "Hey!" I jump and put my arms around his neck. He looked different. Stronger and more ripped. His deep brown eyes were darker and his skin was tanned.

His blonde hair was still thick and shiny. He was the Ken to my Barbie. The last time I seen him he wasn't scrawny he had started to fill out. He pulled me over to the side of the dance floor and he smiled. "I haven't seen you in forever!" I hug him and laugh. It was so nice to see a face that doesn't even have a single bad memory.

We sit down in a small booth. "How have you been?" He asked. I shrug my shoulders. "Been back and forth." I manage and he nods his head. Bradley had been my childhood best friend and when he moved away on my eleventh birthday I cried for three days.

"You look out if it whenever I see you on tv." I smile a bit. "Ava, it's not drugs is it?" I gape at him alarmed. "No, god no!" He looks relived and I smile at him falling back into out usual rhythm. "It's was this guy." I admit. He leans forward and goes to say something but a loud bass cuts him out.

"Do you wanna go somewhere quieter?" He asks. I pick up my purse more eager to get out of this loud club. Rose and Kristen were no where to be seen so I left them a message and left with Bradley.
