The first test, surprisingly, wasn't softball throwing. Actually, it was a 50-meter dash.
The dash was set up as a race between two people.
It was during these tests that you became more and more familiar with your classmates.
Tenya Iida, the black-haired boy with glasses that had been lecturing your brother. He has engines in his calves and can move incredibly fast. He got 3.04 seconds in the race, his competitor reaching 5.58 seconds.
His competitor was a girl named Tsuyu Asui, her quirk seemed very self explanatory. She was short with long, dark green hair that was tied at the end to look like the legs of a frog. She had very big eyes, and it appeared her quirk gave her all of the capabilities of a frog.
You were to race against your brother, who appeared to be antagonizing you with a large grin.
"I'll kick your ass," you teased, smirking back at him.
"Runners get ready! On your marks, get set..."
"...go!"
Katsuki used his explosion to blast off from his spot, which was extremely loud. You often worried for his hearing, wondering if he'd go deaf one day.
You, however, jumped into the hair and willed the air around you to throw you to the end. The fall wasn't the most graceful and you hardly landed on your feet, but you landed nonetheless.
"3.53 seconds!" the device yelled out when you reached the end.
"4.13 seconds!" it yelled out quickly after, when Katsuki had finished.
"HAH! I win!"
"Bleh, whatever," he growled, sticking his tongue at you.
After you, Midoriya was to race against a blond boy with a large belt buckle. Once the race had began, the blonde boy shot a laser out of the belt buckle and reached the end, the laser dying after about a second and shooting out weak lasers afterwards. It was actually quite funny and had earned him a score of 5.51 seconds.
Midoriya, on the other hand, just ran, earning him 7.02 seconds.
You hoped he wouldn't be expelled.
You sighed, knowing you needed to worry about yourself. You looked at your hands, realizing that you needed to dial back. You remember your mom's warnings, her reminder of the rules. You needed to succeed, but not go too far ahead. You needed to remain fairly hidden, which you didn't particularly want.
'It's for school, I'm sure she'd want me to try my best.'
Next test was meant to test your grip strength. It took you a second to figure out how you'd use your quirk during the test, but you decided to use the air around your hand to force a stronger grip.
While the tactic worked, it hurt quite a bit. Even so, you reached 97 kilograms, which impressed even yourself.
Next, was the long jump. Your brother looked ridiculous when his turn had come around, he used his quirk to make small explosions that kept him in the air, but his odd position to avoid his teach touching the ground looking hilarious.
When your turn had come around, you decided to once again use the air around you to aid you. You ran, jumping and encasing yourself in somewhat of a bubble. Hard winds prevented you from falling, carrying you to where the sand ended. This earned you the highest distance possible, but you weren't the only one who had achieved this. Because of that fact, you still didn't stand out too much.
Your worry for Midoriya increased, he seemed to be falling behind.
"Hey, you got this!" you yelled to him, trying to lift his spirit.
