"hey, hurry up. otherwise i'm gonna answer first." a guy walked up to us. "who are you?" "this guy has been following us since the harbour." Leorio turned to face him. "really?" "so sorry, kid. i couldn't help overhearing your conversation. have you made up your mind?" "since he mentioned it, why don't we let him go first? we can observe how it goes." i mean i'm ok with it. it'll take some pressure off of me. "i'm ok with that." i replied. "fine with me." he walked over to the desk.

"listen carefully. your mom and your lover have been captured by a criminal. but you can only save one. one, your mom. two, your lover. who will you save?" thats a bit hard to answer within 5 seconds. "what kind of question is that?" he pressed the button. "my answer is one." that was quick. "why is that so?" "because a mother is irreplaceable. but you can find another lover." that's not really how love works but alright. "what?" Leorio seems to be really upset. like more thank usual. "move along." he smirked. "what on earth?" "you just have to give the old woman an answer that satisfies her."

i'm not really sure about that. it can't really be that easy, right? or am i just overthinking it? "see you." and he ran past the desk. "hey! you must be kidding me! how is that the correct answer? give an answer that satisfies you? is that how it works?" she just stared at him. "say something. i've had enough of this joke. i'll find another way." Kurapika suddenly got really close to me and took my hand again. i'm not really sure what he's doing but i'm not complaining. "it's too late. if you don't give me an answer here, you'll be out immediately." "stop kidding me! those kind of questions are so subjective!" this question seems kind of personal to him. i don't know, maybe he just takes everything personal.

"there is no such thing as the right answer!" Leorio yelled. Kurapika whispered under his breath "there is no right answer? i get it." he turned around. "Leorio." "wait. you guys are not allowed to talk from now on. anyone who interrupts will get kicked out." Kurapika's grip on my hand got tighter. "now for the question. your son and your daughter have been kidnapped." this again? "you can only save one. one, your son. two, your daughter. who will you save?" Leorio was extremely frustrated. he looked like he could kill someone. he started walking away. "five." he grabbed a piece of wood. "four. three. two." Kurapika's grip only tightened before he let go. "one. times up." Leorio ran towards her and jumped, about to hit her with the wood. Kurapika ran in front of her and stopped him with one of his wooden swords.

"get out of my way, kurapika! i'm going to explode if i don't teach her a lesson!" i walked over to Gon and pat his head. he looked really worried. "Leorio, calm down!" "how do you expect me to clam down?!" "are you going to give up this rare pass?" "pass?" he put his sword down. "we've already given our answer. silence. that's the right answer."

he's so amazing i can't help but be mesmerized by him. "silence? what?" "the reason is exactly like what you said. that's right. there is no right answer to the question. but the rule states that we must chose one of the two options. since we're unable to answer, we could only remain silent." "but that guy just now-" "she told him to move along, not that he was right." finally a door opened and a pathway was shown.

"just keep going for two hours." 2 hours? i'm gonna die if i keep walking in 2 minutes. Gon grabbed my hand and started skipping down the path. "i can't wait to meet the couple! do you think they'll be nice?" Gon hummed. "i hope they are-" i stopped. "man i'm tired." i wiped the sweat off my forehead. kurapika walked over to me and handed me some water. "thanks-" he's so- i don't know but i love being around him.
