Jungkook POV
The taste of bile rose ever so slightly up my throat upon gaining consciousness again. Although I cannot remember if I was in fact unconscious to begin with.
"Jungkook?" My back lay directly against something cold, wet and my head instinctively whipped towards the sound of Jimin's voice.
"Jimin, where is V? And Yoongi?" That is when Jin's words echo repeatedly reminding me that we 'will all exit at different points of the earth.' So Jimin and I must find them at Hallasan. Something I am positive will be easier said then done.
"It is a miracle that we landed together Jungkook after the words Jin spoke." Sitting up harshly I winced at the ephemeral pain in my lower back, surely any injury should've healed by now? Being a vampire the rate at which we heal is magnified ten fold, but right now the bruise is still sore.
"Your powers will be weaker here then back home Jungkook. Let me help you up okay?" Jimin read the expression of pain on my face. Reaching down to help me stand he grabbed my hand, pulled and swiftly stood me upright. There was such unnoticeable strength in his tiny hands which became swallowed in my own.
"Thank you, do you have an idea where Hallasan is by any chance?" I questioned, brushing the dirt from my black jeans and tilting me head to the side.
No response, I didn't have much hope anyway. We have all been thrust head first into this adventure with few words for guidance.
"I do not, however they may." Jimin's arm extended past my head, obviously pointing towards something. I turned to spot three men entering a building, upon further observation the building was packed with more people all laughing, drinking and smoking. A lonely bar along a deserted road which practically drowned with youth.
"Follow me, do not converse with anyone." Jimin's eyes locked with mine and he grabbed my shoulder's, squeezing them gently—however the look on his face suggested he too was nervous. "If someone attempts to attack you Jungkook, do not fight them. Do you understand?" I nodded softly, knowledgable enough of Jimin's behaviour to know when he wasn't joking around. "At the moment you haven't accustomed to earth, in addition you are injured. Attempting to fight off anyone may prove futile if we know nothing of their kind." He's right, as always.
"I understand." Without any further explanation we were both at the door, the tiny chime of a bell rung upon entering, signifying our entry to everyone in the room. Not that anyone spared us a glance anyway.
There were no hesitations in Jimin's graceful movements as he lead us towards a man standing behind the counter, whilst I bumped into about every possible object I physically could.
The music was exceptionally loud; too loud to hear anything and the scent's given off where overbearing. Although that was usual for me it was worse then anything I have ever experienced before. Bile, alcohol, sweat, smoke all piled up into a drug and shoved down my throat so harshly I choked.
Blood.
The sweet and salty smell which eventually overpowered all others. It thrummed down these people's veins and I made a deduction that we do in fact share something in common, it is a necessity to live.
Not as you may think however. I eat food and will drink essentially anything under the sun, including blood. So while I do not perish away into nothing without, vampire's drink it to become stronger, healthier, more powerful.
Right now I could do with some, and looking around there wasn't exactly a deficit of the liquid.
'Do not fight them.' Pinning someone against a wall, gripping their throat with my teeth and indulging in their liquid life may seem like an attack of sorts. So I abstain, something I am used to anyway after having not really taken a liking for the thick texture of blood. Some say it runs down their throat like velvet while others drink blood and act as if they are being choked.
