Pair: Kunten (Kun x Ten) - platonic

Genre: fluff

Warnings: none

Small Summary: Kun and Ten have a habit of passing notes during class, resulting in a large student body speculation that the two are dating regardless of the fact that Ten is aroace and Kun is dating Lucas.

*Aroace - someone who is both aromantic and asexual, meaning they don't experience romantic or sexual attractions. People who are aroace can fall in love, it's just not romantically or sexually (or it's infrequently).

2) Qian Kun, ultimate boyfriend material; 18 years old and a senior in high school; Best cook you will ever meet, outfits giving me very much 'boyfriend that will never be yours vibe', and - most importantly - expert note passer.

It was the first grade when the first note had been passed between the two friends. To put it quite bluntly, Ten has sauntered up to Kun's desk with his backwards baseball cap that was three times too big for his head and his little jean overalls that were covered in paint from the finger painting craft they were doing. He had smacked a sticky note down on the boy's desk, Kun turning his head up in surprise and his small, circular, and crooked glasses sliding down his small nose.

The note read: "Blu panit"

Kun had taken all of the blue paint tubes in the class much to the confusion of the dozen five-year-old's. He had shoved them into his desk and only Ten had seen him do the dirty crime. However, he himself did not want all of the other kids to take the supply of blue paint, for his beautiful painting of a cat could not be complete without the blue collar.

With a moment of silent eye contact, Kun reached into his desk and slid a tube of the bright blue paint into Ten's hands. Ten looked the young toddler up and down and nodded.

They were accomplices.

Fast forward to thirteen years later, Kun and Ten remained best friend and partners in crime. They had perfected their note passing skill from their first meeting and, although everyone in the grade knew they were passing notes, they still called themselves "expert note passers."

It was a lukewarm spring day, the wind a slight chill in the air and the sun beaming down on the students as they streamed into the school. The windows of the hallways were open and allowed for fresh air to fill the tired students' lungs, the cheerful trill of the birds fluttering in through the open glass pains.

Ten, adorned in a loose white t-shirt and a pair of black basketball shorts looked down at the antique watch resting on his tanned wrist. He glanced at the hands of the clock over his glasses, his black hair dusting over his forehead. Classes were to start in ten minutes.

He smiled; it was just enough time.

Ten broke into a light run, turning the hallway corners and picking up speed the closer he got to his target destination. If he was lucky, Lucas had distracted the older like he had ordered him too. If not...

He couldn't bear to think about it.

Slamming the classroom door open, Ten scanned the room with a heaving desperation before crumbling to his knees. The teacher scoffed from the front of the classroom. Sitting at their shared desk was just the person he didn't want to see.
