this guy was the last person i ever wanted to see. here's the story, he was my boyfriend back in California, but we broke up cause he was controlling, aggressive and a cheater but he never hit me though. "hey babe" Tiyah squealed while giving him a hug.
"wassup bae" he said giving her a kiss not once letting his stare fall from me
"wassup Kealynn, you lookin' fine as always" he said in his usual flirty voice
"aha don't even try when your dating my cousin, i cant believe your dating this fool" she said to Tiyah
"ouch, rude, i see your still playin' hard to get" he said, completely ignoring the fact that his girlfriend is right next to him
"you know I'm right here" Tiyah said
"i know bae, I'm sorry" he said flashing her his famous smile no girl can resist
"anyways you already know Marques and Kealynn, this is my cousin Amaiyah, this is Tre Kealynn's boyfriend and Amaiyah and Marques is dating" Tiyah said introducing us
"damn Kealynn you move on fast" he said urgh is he really trying to start this now
"whatever Jacob" i said trying so hard not to cuss him out
"what about my nick name Jake" he said
"you don't deserve it" i said walking away, this was gonna be an interesting week

everybody was watching a movie so i decided to be kind and make popcorn for everyone. i went to the kitchen and opened the cabinet. great the popcorn is on the top shelf. i stood on my tippy toes trying to reach the popcorn. damn its moments like this i wish i was tall. i started jumping like a five year old trying to get a cookie jar the the counter. "need some help" a manly voice said then chuckled
"no I'm fine Jacob" i said still trying to do the impossible. he came behind me and took the popcorn off the shelf like it was easy and handed it too me, "here you go with your short self" he said
"show off" i muttered, putting the popcorn in the microwave, he laughed
there was awkward silence for a while
"Maiyah i miss you" he finally said
"well i don't" i said dryly getting a bowl from the cupboard
"i know you don't mean that" he said
"yes i do, you played with my heart and you hurt me. i finally found someone that loves me and respects me" i said
"Maiyah, I'm sorry i cheated on you with Stephany, she was easy and she was there when i vulnerable" he said trying to plead his case but i wasn't having it
"I'm sure she was" i said
"please just give me another chance" he begged
"i gave you many chances Jacob and you ruined them all, and I'm not going to that to my cousin"
"yea, why didn't you tell me you were family with them" he asked
"kay, 1. why would it matter if i was and 2. i just found out three months ago myself" i said
finally the microwave beeped, i took the popcorn out and poured it into the bowl
"Kealynn just give me a chance to prove myself" he said, did this nigga just call me my sister
"and that's exactly the reason why i shouldn't give you a chance, just treat Tiyah right Jake, can you just do that for me" i asked and he nodded
"good" i said leaving the kitchen *sigh*, boys these days got issues
