The once quiet school of Dongguan, China, had turned into a living hell for the students and the teachers today. Everything started when a teenage girl started beating her classmate because she was dating her ex-boyfriend. She was so jealous that she grabbed her by her hair and hit her head on the wall. Soon after, whoever was feeling even the slightest piece of jealousy for someone, was attacking each other. From teachers that were paid better than others to the soccer team who some were more qualified, to the drama club where the most "beautiful" members were taking the "best" roles, even the staff that was working for the cafeteria had problems with one another.

Envy was spreading like a virus making them have no control over their actions. Xiaojun was sitting in the middle of the forecourt, running his hand through his dyed silver hair and watching the show in front of him. Students were running away from others, teachers were humiliating themselves and a couple was hiding away. Many students had been hurt badly and many people had been unconscious for far too long. And all that happened because in everyone there was hidden jealousy. At some point, everyone wanted what the other person had. Even if it was more money, or their beauty, their IQ, or their gifts and talents. Even the newest phone or PC, just whatever they dreamed of having and they couldn't have.

The smallest detail, once it was noticed it was envied and desirable at the same time. As they couldn't take it away from the other person, the only solution was to destroy them or it. So no one could have it. Jealousy in general was driven by the feeling of injustice. Why some people have more money? Why some people are born more beautiful than others? Or smarter? Why some people have a good life while others are struggling? The world is unfair. Yet, they don't seem to understand that is unfair to everyone. They only care about how they feel, how their lives are, how "bad" and "miserable" they are. This will always bring envy.

Xiaojun laughed hard at the weak human beings who thought they were above all living creatures. They were pathetic when they couldn't keep themselves in control and their feelings surpassed logic. After all, it was in human nature to always want what they can't have, to always feel unsatisfied, and finally giving birth to envy. An emotion that can't be avoided. "Excuse me! C- can you help me? I got hit..." suddenly a girl, with long messy brown hair and hazel eyes stood before him. She seemed scared and a little blood was coming out from her head. Xiaojun was left to look at her in awe. To his eyes, she was very beautiful. Her aura was drowning him. He wanted to look at her forever... And he also wanted her to look only at him, the way she was doing now...

He shook his head trying to get away from the maze he was into. "Oh, of course..." he said and ripped a piece of his shirt. Slowly he placed some of her hair behind her ear and started cleaning her wound. "How did you get into this mess?" he asked trying to start a conversation, "Are you also jealous or something?" he added unthinkingly. The girl smirked, "No, I am not. I was hitten by accident. It was a flying chair... I am Tian Shi by the way." she answered him locking her eyes on his. "Xiaojun" he introduced while licking his lips. At the same time, he stopped cleaning the wound as no more blood was coming out.

"So, Xiaojun, how didn't you get into this mess? Aren't you the jealous type?" Tian Shi crossed her arms, scanning him. Xiaojun felt as if his deepest desires were exposed under her sight. He looked away laughing. "Am I giving that impression?"

"Yeah, you do." she mocked him and stepped closer to him. That moment, Xiaojun felt his whole body shivering. Her presence was so dominant... A sense of a dangerous mystery was all around her. A mystery that he wanted to be the one to solve. Him and only him. No other should be around her! Only in the thought that he couldn't have her made him... jealous.

"Where are you staring at?" her voice brought him back to reality, realizing he had pinned his eyes on her pink lips. Why had he done that? Was it possible...? Did he want to taste her? Tian Shi's expression changed into a more serious one and closed the distance even more. Xiaojun couldn't control himself anymore. She was just inches away! How was he supposed not to kiss her while her eyes were calling him? That's right. They were calling him! Him, and only! She would be his and no one else's! Fastly he put his lips on hers.

Quickly, he felt drunk after tasting her. He grabbed her by her waist and put his tongue into her mouth finding hers. Tian Shi's hands ran through his chest and rested on his neck. Xiaojun felt goosebumps running all over him when she grabbed his neck strongly, feeling the metal of his green necklace squeezing his flesh. Their kiss was giving him a sense of passion that he never had felt before. A sensation that he wanted to devour as much as possible! To be the only one who would devour it. He made the kiss more dominant while envy was spreading over him only by thinking who she maybe had kissed before. She shouldn't be able to let anyone have a taste of her except him! All the others hadn't had the right to have her! His jealousy was getting stronger as he kept on pressing himself on her.

When, suddenly, his body froze. Xiaojun started shivering so much that he cut the kiss abruptly. His lips and nails had turned blue as if the temperature dropped below zero. Then something unpleasant stuck in his throat. Xiaojun caught two or three times until he realized he was drowning. Water was coming out from his mouth as if he was sinking under a frozen lake, while his body kept on shivering to the point he couldn't move or feel his legs and hands. He glanced at Tian Shi, knowing that he was close to losing his consciousness, noticing her yellow eyes and wings on her shadow. Tian Shi, slowly approached him and ripped off his necklace, "Everything will be over soon. I promise." she said and stroke his hair disappearing the same moment Xiaojun fell on the ground.
