"a passion of the sensitive appetite

whereas it is evil if it set the order of reason aside"

- Thomas Aquinas -

"Wasn't that a foul?" Lucas asked the guy beside him and touched his necklace. Immediately the chill guy who was watching casually a football game started getting angrier. "You're right! HEY! THAT WAS A FOUL!" he screamed making everyone turn their attention to him. Another guy who was with the opposite team, stood up and replied in the same aggressive tone, "SHUT UP! You're ruining the game!" some of the people agreed with him and started hooting the first guy who had talked.

Quickly the ones who were on the same team as he started defending him and agreeing with the foul. The tension had begun. Lucas stood up and sit farther away in a corner. The verbal violence was getting more intense between the two teams and everyone was boiling with anger. Lucas smirked and cracked his fingers which signaled the physical violence too. The people on the stands ran forcefully to one another, some of them entering the field causing the game to stop. They started beating, punching, and even bitting each other without mercy! Their rage and hatred for their opponents were too strong to be ignored.

They didn't even care that there were children around too. The players at first tried to stop them but soon, the hidden rivalry took over them, and joined the fight siding with their fans. There was chaos. People were even ripping off the chairs on the stands as a way to cause more trauma on their foes. Some of them had passed out, some had been stepped on, a couple had died, and that in just five minutes. So great their rage was. Lucas placed his back on the wall, enjoying the view. Humans didn't seem to be able to control their emotions. No matter if they were good or bad, they simply couldn't. They were driven by them and the more they feel, the crazier they get.

Even too much love was dangerous, not just too much anger. As the hatred was getting stronger, their mind was getting weaker. It was just how they were supposed to be. Falling to their sins. Unable to put their differences aside and talk reasonably. The only way they knew it was violence. It wasn't just Lucas' impact, it was their weakness. He bit his lips while his eyes traveled around to the bloody mess when his attention was caught by a figure meters away from him.

The more he was looking at it the more he recognized its characteristics. It was a girl. She was also standing with her back against the wall, indifferent to what was going on around them. Lucas realized that she was staring back at him too. It was weird. That intense stare... No one had looked at him so...aggressively. Aggressively in a good way. So, he decided to approach her. With confidence he walked over to her, avoiding things that were thrown around and running people. When he stood in front of her, he felt nervous all of sudden. Her long light brown hair was matching her hazel eyes and fair skin. She seemed out of this world.

"And I thought you wouldn't come," she exclaimed. Lucas tried to bring himself back grinning. "I took my chances. You aren't joining this mess, are you?" he said pointing around. The girl glanced at the insane people for a moment and then turned at him, "Nah, not a big fan of fighting. By the way, Tian Shi." she replied giving her hand. Lucas stared a little bit in these hazel eyes and then he took it, "Lucas," he introduced feeling her soft flesh under his.

"You seem to enjoy this chaos, Lucas." she mocked him when she took her hand away. "I do actually, some people are too fragile when it comes to their feelings." That moment Tian Shi's sight became stricter. Lucas found himself somewhat afraid, yet he liked it. "You like acting like the devil... Let me give you a piece of heaven." she murmured and without a warning, she pressed her lips on his. Lucas was surprised at first but a moment later he took in the sensation her lips were giving him. Actually, he liked the kiss so much that he wanted to turn it into a more passionate session.

Forcefully he pinned her to the wall and grabbed the back of her neck. Their tongues were fighting as hard as the people around them, and they wouldn't back down. Lucas' rage was getting stronger as they were continuing kissing. He wanted all of her and couldn't control his emotions. He was pressing her even more to the wall, and his desire reached its highest when she put her hands around his neck taking his breath away. He considered that her passion was like his, driven by anger. The anger of not having enough, the anger of not feeling satisfied... Ignoring that she had already taken off his precious necklace he kept on kissing her roughly.

In the end, Lucas was the one to cut the kiss as he felt a sudden acid pain in his hands. Quickly the pain moved to his legs. In no time it was unbearable. It felt as if his hands, legs even his organs were pulled out of his body. It felt as if he was dismembered! That was how much pain he was under. His nose even starting bleeding because of it. He let out a scream, kneeling down. "It's only fair to make you feel the same pain these people are feeling too." Tian Shi said with a cold voice, looking down at him with golden eyes. Behind her, her wings were standing with authority, and that was the last sight Lucas saw before she disappeared, leaving him to pass out because of the pain.
