The monster in me Part 3

You sit in silence for a few hours as you watch TV With Cletus. You think of what to say to him as the silence is starting to feel awkward. " So Cletus, What do you like to do for fun? " You look to him from the other side of the couch.

His eyes drift over to you the TV light shining on his face. He smiles wide like he was happy to see you interested. " What do I like to do? Well you know the usual things like surf the web. Help clean up the city and help people see the light. " Him thinking of what he said in his twisted sense of right and wrong.

You think of what he just said of course not knowing what he really meant.

" What about you? " He looked at you seeming to be interested in that you would say.

" Oh me? I like to draw and Help people and animals. And hang out with my friends and Family play games." You feel shy as to what he would say.

He starts to laugh and look to the TV. " You sound like such a goody goody dads perfect angel. "

You feel insulted by his tone and response. " I won't be ashamed of who I am. "

He stops as he hears you speak noticing the change of tone in your voice. " I never said I didn't like it. Just find it funny because you look cute when you are angry. " The symbiote seems to crawl up his neck like it was responding to his emotions. " And I still have not properly introduced you to Red."

You jump up from the couch face turning red. " What do you mean Red? "

" The Symbiote I call Red or Carnage. So you know red doesn't like to be called thing. " The symbiote takes over his body once again showing it's Rorschach like eyes and sharp black teeth. His voice changing like two where talking. " We Find you're lack of fear to be interesting it smells different. "

" You can smell me?" You step back from him trying to think if not showing fear was stupid of you. You trip as you back away and fall on your butt.

They walk towards you his finger growing longer like claws. " Awww, don't go getting all scared now. I was just trying to show you red. We are roommates now after all. " They hold out there hand and help you up as the symbiote slowly crawls up your arm. And carnage puts his face close to you and smells the air.

" N-nice to meet you Red. " You feel strange like little bugs are going up your arm. You look Carnage in the eyes as they scan you up and down. 

Carnage stops as the symbiote lets go of your arm. He looks to the window like they just heard something outside. " Looks like we have some unfinished business to attend to. Don't worry we will be back. "  They head to the window and open it without hesitation they jump down the wall leaving claw marks. And Swing off into the night. 

You don't know what just happened as you walk to the couch and look at you're arm. " That symbiote looks so familiar. " You think to wait for him to get back and ask him more about it. But hours pass and you are falling asleep. " I guess he is not coming back tonight it's already midnight." You yawn and turn the TV off and go to the bedroom and strip down and put  pajamas on. You get in bed and fall asleep within a few min.

You sleep like a baby for the hole night and wake up to find they still have not came back. " Still not back? " You shrug it off thinking maybe he had work or something. Getting ready for the day you head to work at the hospital. A week passes and he still does not return you start to think maybe it was just a bad dream. You get back from work ready for another weekend free from work. You been making enough food for two people just in case they come back again. Suddenly you hear a knock at the door witch makes you wake up from your tired daze. " Coming just a min." You say as you stop cooking and head to the door and open it. "Yes? Cletus!? "
