You try not to look around thinking he may be messing with you. " Did someone really follow me? "

He keeps looking forward. " Yes, I don't know what they want but if something happens to me I want you to run. "

" I'm not going to just leave you like that Cletus. " You say sounding upset with the hole thing. You hold onto him tight not wanting to see him hurt.

He feels you hold him tight and he grips your back in response. " You don't have to hold so tight you know. " He smiles as the Symbiote takes over his body his claws digging into your shirt but not into you. His Symbiote screams at the unseen man as a gun shows from the shadow making sounds that hurt your ears. Carnage lets you go and grabs his ears in pain as the Symbiote crawls and wiggles around. Like it was  trying to get away from the sound.

" Cletus!" You yell as you see him in pain. You feel anger take over you and without thinking you run at the man and go for the gun. You kick it enough that the man loses his aim on Carnage.

Carnage soon gets himself together and sees you fighting for the gun. " (Y/N)! "

The man punches you in the gut knocking the wind out of you.

You fall to the ground gasping for air as he grabs a hand gun and points it at you.

" Stupid girl, you are protecting that monster? " He looks up to the sound of Carnage screams his eyes show fear. As Carnage tackles him and starts taring at him with his claws like a crazed animal. Blood flows down the cracks in the floor from the man as he stopped moving. Carnage over him breathing heavy blood dripping from his claws.

" Cletus? " You say shaking at what you just saw.

He turns to you blood still dripping down his claws pealing back his Symbiots face showing Cletus. " I'm sorry, but he hurt you and he was going to kill you. I had to stop him before he killed you. " He looks at you with sadness worried you would hate him and think him a monster.

You feel your body shaking trying to speak but frozen with fear of what happened.

His face gets taken over by the Symbiote once again. " I.... I'm sorry. " He goes to the window opening it looking back at you over his shoulder. " I guess all always be a monster. " He jumps out the window you run after him words still not coming out.

" CLETUS!" You yell into the night with nothing but the wind to respond. " No, please come back!" You drop to your knees and start to cry into your hands shaking as you do. " It's not you Cletus, I was just in shock he had a gun to my head. And you killed him I was scared. " You say to yourself still crying. You pull your hands away from your face and look to the man who Just tried to kill you. Laying on the floor in a pool of blood body still twitching. Soon you look away not wanting to see more then you wanted. " What am I going to do? " You remember the guy called Eddie. " I can't ask him for help.... can I? How would I even get in contact  with him? " You think for a moment and grab your phone and phone book and look up his name. " Eddie Brock hope this works... " You call his number and let the phone ring. It feels like hours waiting for him to pick up.

" Hello? "

" Eddie! is this Venom?" You feel ex sided to get a response

" Yes, I'm guessing something happened? That didn't take long... all be over soon. " He hangs up the phone and within mins he is at your door. He looks down at the dead guy with his hoodie up then looking to you. " Guess he didn't change... "

" No, He was going to kill me he had a gun to my head and Cletus lost it and... "

He looks at you seeing the blood splatter on your clothing. " If that's what happened then why did you call me? "
