It Hurts like Venom Part 13

That night I kept having bad dreams, Things like Carnage and Venom. But they where all different. All talking at once telling me stories, about how small and pointless we all are. A man called Null who made them. And how humans will join us or all die by there hands. 

" No, stop leave me alone!" Waking up in a panic I see Cletus looking at me. With a worried look on his face. " Sorry I...was having a bad dream. " I say hiding my face under the covers. he pulls the cover down to see me. Red comes out of his shoulder. 

" I'm sorry" Red said wall coming towards me her Rorschach eyes. Looking worried as well. " What are you sorry for Red? " I say. " Because we became one, there is a chance of you being connected to the others."  You look confused and let out a chuckle.  " Haha good one red, you had me there for a moment. I don't know about you but I am feeling hungry. "  You stand up out of bed, walking towards the kitchen. " Oh... I forgot we lost all the food in the fight. "

Cletus rubs the back of his neck, as he gets up from the bed. Eyes looking to the side as he speaks. " Red was not kidding (Y/N), we have to address this. " He looks at you then to the side. like he was worried. " I was hoping this wouldn't happen, but if you get to linked. You could give him are location. or go mad from the voices, eater way it wont  go well to ignore it.

You look at him like it was a bad joke. " I mean, it was just one bad dream. I don't hear voices or anything now. " He looks annoyed clenching his fists. " I'm not joking, and for now you don't hear them. But the longer time passes the worse it will get. "

Your taken back by his response. " What can you do to stop it then? " You say quietly not looking at him.

He looks to Red still on his shoulder. " We still have to figure that part out." He turns full Carnage and jumps to the window. " Hey, where are you going? " You say walking towards him. " Out.. all bring something to eat back with me." He said as they jump out the window.

You sit down on a chair and look at the mess from last night. You pick up one of your drawing books wiping the dust off. Opening it up you flip through it, and stop at a drawing of Cletus you did. You smile as you turn to the next drawing, A child like drawing of Carnage beating up bad guys. You smile and chuckle at his cute drawing. " Oh Cletus." You say softly.

Carnage swings around the city scanning the area. Red peals back showing his face as he clenches his teeth. " Why did you do that Red? " Red looks at him looking angry. " You say it like I wanted it to happen. She was not staying in sink with me, you where knocked out. And Toxin was going to kill me. What else was I going to do? " He punches the wall cracking it, pulling his hand back seeing his hand is bleeding. Seeing Red pealed back from his hand. "Remember I'm the one with the power. You are just a human with your weak little body. I'm also keeping you alive at this point. " Red said with a threatening tone. " Are you threatening me? " He said looking at her with cold eyes.

" It looks like you two have problems.. what happened to your I way of talking?" Venom jumps down into the alleyway.  

"Venom, I'm surprised you showed up." Crossing his arms. " Yeah.. we are not on the best of times  right now. Red thought it was a good Idea to force a connection. "

Venom lunged forward grabbing them by the t-shirt. " You did what? You know noting good comes of that. It can cause them to go mad and give away are location. Who was it you force fused with Carnage? " Cletus looks down and says under his breath. " (Y/N) Why I am so angry with Red. " Cletus grabs Venom's hand as Carnage takes over. " Now take your hands off me. " Venom let's go as Carnage and Venom hiss at each other. 

" Why don't you just cut her head off? That's what you would do normally. " Venom said showing there long tung and sharp teeth.

Carnage peals back showing Cletus once again. " I told you.. I'm trying to change. Besides I thought I made it clear I won't hurt her. "

Venom  laughed " A killer like you changing and falling in love. Don't make me laugh, you never loved anything but the kill. "

Carnage takes over as they jump towards Venom, biting and clawing at each other like wiled animals. " I don't care if you believe me or not Venom! If your not going to help me I mite as well let out my anger on you! " Carnage said as they through Venom into the wall braking it.  Venom gets up and thoughts a birch at him. punching him over and over again Carnage headbutting him back. And kicking him off of him as Venom grabs his fists. " That's enough we will help you. " Carnage steps back looking confused. " If you didn't care about her, you wouldn't have gotten so angry. " Venom spits out blood then wipes it away.

Carnage goes back into him. " Th...Thank you, Do you have any ideas of what we could do? " 

Venom goes back into Eddie. " It will take sometime, But Venom thinks there is a way to cut to cord so to speak. How knows, maybe she could be fine in a few days. If not, you know how to call us. " Eddie starts to walk away. " And don't think this means your off the hook, I'm still going to lock you up someday. " 

Cletus rolled his eyes and waved him goodbye. He sighed and looked to the crowed of people walking. just passed the ally way. " Well I guess we better find something to eat. "

You finish cleaning up the mess from the fight last night. " I don't know why I bothered cleaning this. It's not even a place with running water. " You flop onto the couch. " I really want to get a new place. I can't believe I miss work right now. " You look up to the sealing. " Come on Cletus I'm starving! " You say with a wimpier as you look at the time and see it's lunch time.

" Did someone call for a pizza? " You see Carnage with a smile walking in the window. "Carnage! " You say with excitement as you hug them smelling the pizza. " That smells so good. " You say as you feel the drool forming in our mouth. Shortly after you are siting on the couch eating a slice. Like you haven't eaten in day. " Cletus smiles. " You may want to slow down or you may chock. " You stop and see you have eating your slice already. " I didn't think I was that hungry. Sorry thank you by the way. " You kiss him on the cheek as he was still eating, his cheeks go a little red. " Not a problem, I didn't know what else to get you. " Throwing a piece of meat for red as she eat it hole.

" So um... Have you and red cleared things up? And do you know what to do about the hole linked thing? " He keeps eating. " Sorry. " He stopped and looked at you then to the wall. " We are still trying to find out what to do. I think you have nothing to worry about (Y/N). " He smiles softly for you.

You smile back, but you know it's still bothering him. " Cletus I. " He gets up as you reach out to him. " (Y/N) I'm sorry I have to go. " He doesn't look at you as he walks to the window. "To get out of here, you can take the stares down. I made sure they where still safe. All be back later. " "Cletus wait. " He turns into Carnage and leaves before you can talk. " I..." You feel sad as you pick up your wallet and backpack. " I guess he needs sometime, Maybe a gift will cheer him up." You think as you go down the stares to the outside.
