The Adventures of Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka's POV

"I know," I said looking at Anakin sadly.

I walked away from the Jedi temple knowing all eyes were on me. How could they not trust me? After everything I've done for the Jedi, how could they do this?

Suddenly I stop walking about a mile away from the temple. I realize I don't have any credits. I guess I'll have to get a job but for now, I need to find a semi-decent shelter. Suddenly I bump into someone.

"Sorry," I said.

I turn around and see Padme.

"Padme, what are you doing here?" I ask.

"I was going to ask you the same. I just finished a Senate meeting" she said.

"Well you see I left the order and now I have to find some shelter for the night," I said avoiding eye contact.

"You can go home with me. Anakin just told me he is going on a mission. So you should have a few days to sort things out." She said smiling.

"Sure I would love that," I said.

"Perfect!" She said, We began walking back to her apartment, it was silent the whole time.

About ten minutes later we arrived.

"You can stay in this room," Padme said pointing to a white door.

"Thanks," I said.

I opened the door and saw a small room with a white bed and vanilla painted walls. I set down the mat and I take off my cloak.

There was suddenly a knock on the door.

"Dinner is served," said a robot voice.

"Okay," I said then walked out of the room to join Padme at the dining table. I take a seat in a velvet chair.

"This is amazing you didn't have to do all of this for me," I say.

"Of course I did after everything you went through you deserve this" Padme said.

"Thank you so much for everything," I say gratefully.

"Of course anything for a friend," Padme said.

A grey robot came into the room carrying the food.

"Thank you," I say as he sets down the food.

"Can you get my friend the finest drink we have?" Padme asked.

"Yes, my lady," The robot said and left.

I look at my food. It was a bunch of shrimp, something I haven't had in a very long time. I take a bit of my food and shallow it.

"This tastes amazing," I said.

"It does," Padme said.

Padme looked at me for a second and then asked, "do you have any ideas on what you are planning on doing next?" Padme asked.

"Maybe something with ships since Anakin has taught me a lot about ships," I say.

"You would be good at that," Padme said, "Until you can get back up onto your feet you can live here." 

"I could do that but I know Anakin visits you a lot don't you think he'll freak out a little bit?" I ask.

"For now if he shows up we will make sure you are not here until we figure out what exactly to do about that."

"Okay thank you for this Padme," I say.

"Of course," Padme said.

"Can I ask a personal question?" I ask.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Well, I've noticed how you and Anakin are around each other. I know this might sound crazy. Are you secretly dating him?" I ask quietly, biting my lip.

Padme looks at me surprised. "We are married but it's in secret," She responds quietly.

I smile. "I won't say a thing," I say.

"Thank you so much!" Padme says relieved.

"Anything for you and Anakin. Anakin saved me so many times on the battlefield and has taught me so much in these last few years. Plus you both helped me throughout the trial and provided a place for me to stay," I say.

"That's what friends are for," Padme said with a smile.

"I'm going to head to bed if you excuse me," I said leaving the table. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight," Padme said.

I walk into my bedroom. I close the door then I walk over to my bed and sit on it. I've never slept on anything so comfortable. I cross my legs and begin to meditate. I try to feel for Anakin. I feel lots of pain, anger, and sadness. I try to send calming waves to him. I feel the pain lessen some.

"I'm sorry Skyguy," I said quietly then ended my meditation. I turned off the lights and went to bed.
