Ahsoka's POV

The Day of Mission

"Eli get up!" I yell from my room.

"I'm up Master!" Eli yells back.

"Pack all of your valuables!" I yell back.

I grab my two lightsabers and put them on my belt. Then I grab the lightsaber I won from Dooku. I grab my holo pad and my cloak. I come out of my room with Eli waiting for me with his things. We walked to the Twilight in silence, as soon as we arrived we sat the items down and went back to the council chambers.

"Let me do all of the talking," I said.

"Yes, Master."

I open the door.

"Master Tano, Padawan Mcnee you are late," Master Windu said.

"My apologies, that is my fault," I reply, "We were preparing for the mission."

"I will get straight to the point Padawan McNee can't go on this mission," Master Windu said.

I crossed my arms, "why not?" I ask.

"He isn't ready," Master Windu answered.

"Didn't he pass his trials?" I ask.

"Master Tano, he did pass his trials but there was a mix up in the system and he's only ten. Padawans are normally thirteen," Master Ti explained.

"With all due respect if he passed his trials that means he is ready," I answered.

"We are allowing you to train him but he requires more training before he goes on a mission," Master Windu said.

"But-"

"The decision is final," Master Mundi interrupted.

"Fine," I said, "C'mon Eli I will find you an alternative assignment."

I felt Eli's unease, as we left the room. We began to walk to the hanger.

"Lesson two disobey orders you don't believe are right," I said.

Eli smiled, "Does that mean I get to go?"

"Yes it does my Padawan," I answer as we board the Twilight.

"Do you know how to fly?" I asked.

"A little," he said.

"After I get it started I'll show you," I said.

I begin to take off and head to one of the Republic cruise ships. I begin to explain to Eli how to fly than sit him down in the pilot seat, after ten minutes we landed on the hanger.

"Well done my Padawan," I said as we got off.

"Thank you, Master," he said. I could tell he still felt uneasy from the council meeting.

"Company attention!" I hear someone yell.

I look up to see the 501st squad standing in attention.

"Welcome back Commander Tano," Captain Rex said, "General Skywalker wanted to send a small division to help with your mission."

"Thank you," I said, "At ease soldiers."

Immediately the soldiers returned to their activities.

"Who is this?" Rex asked, gesturing to Eli.

"Eli he is my Padawan," I answered, "Eli this is Captain Rex of the 501st you will give him and his men proper respect."

"Yes Master, a pleasure to meet you, Captain," he said.

"Nice to meet you too kid," he answered.

"Shall we discuss the mission?" I ask.

"Right this way," Captain Rex said.
