The Adventures of Ahsoka Tano

Anakin's POV

I finally arrived back at the Jedi temple. I had a rescue mission that was successful.

I step off the ship and see Obi-Wan.

"Nice to see you again Master," I say.

"Anakin we must talk," Obi-Wan said, sounding professional.

"Okay," I say.

We begin walking to the outdoor parts of the temple where it isn't crowded.

Obi-Wan feels tense.

"Is there something wrong?" I ask.

"Anakin I've been meaning to talk to you about this for a while but I know about you and the senator," Obi-Wan said quietly.

"How?" I blurted out.

"I'm your Master. I figured these things out but you could have told me about this. I do support you," Obi-Wan said.

"Sorry Master," I say looking down in shame.

"No Anakin, it's my fault you shouldn't have to feel like you couldn't tell me something," Obi-Wan said.

"Thank you, Master," I say.

Obi-Wan just smiled and kept walking. I followed closely beside him.

"How is Ahsoka?" I ask.

There was a moment of silence.

"She's doing fine, she's been in her room studying if you want to visit," he said,"now I must be going."

I walk to Ahsoka's quarters to check on her. I find her on the floor with about ten books spread out on the floor.

"Skyguy you got back quickly," Snips says, surprised.

"Yeah, the mission finished early," I say.

"Nice job Skyguy," she says looking down at one of the books.

"Snips what's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing," she answers.

Why is she lying?

"Ahsoka you can trust me," I tell her.

"I know," She said with a small smile.

"Then what's wrong?" I ask.

"I promise it's nothing, I'm just still trying to process the last few weeks," Ahsoka said.

"You want to talk about it?" I ask sitting down.

"It's after the trial I never thought I would come back here. I still feel betrayed by the council at times. To be honest, I'm still not sure why I was chosen to be a Grey Jedi and that the force would trust me with that type of task," she said.

"What task?" I ask.

"I can't tell you but I will be okay," she said with a smile.

"Let me know if you need help okay?"

"You don't think I can do it on my own?" she asked, offended.

"No but you can be stubborn and you don't ask for help," I tell her.

Ahsoka rolls her eyes, "Alright Skyguy."

"Just stay safe alright?"

"I'll follow your example," Ahsoka said with a smirk.

I laugh, "I have to go talk to the council about my mission okay?"

"Have fun Skyguy," Ahsoka said.

"You too Snips," I say as I walk out.

"Why him?" Ahsoka asks herself under her breath as I reach the door.

Who was she referring to? Was this person who the mission is about?
