Thoughts jump in my mind
and i dont have any time
to write it all down
in a verse or a line
brain filled with thoughts
but no one to share it with
questions to ask
no answers are givin
like
does that girl like me?
that girl in the blue
what do you have to do
to get her to notice you
scenes open and close
like a fast forwarded play
we dance in the moonlight
flowing blonde hair
deep green eyes
I cant help but stare
she flawless in her ways
so graceful and pretty
and i'm such an average joe
im a small town
shes a city
i know she wont like me
but how could i blame her
I'm not even good looking
shes such a beauty
my heart races
every time i get to see her
she comes and sees me
when her man goes and leave her
is that all it'll ever be
just a shoulder to cry on?
a friend to talk to
someone to relly on
I love her so much
I'd do anything for her
I'd dry every tear
but the days will go by
a month
a year
and I havent told her
just in case of the chance
that I'm only a friend to her
and thats where it'll stay
I guess I'll be single
Maybe it's ment that way
but how she haunts my dreams
her beauty shines like sun beams
she so perfect in every way
i can't stay away
but i'm just a friend to her
and there i will stay
