Optimus and Elita were frantically searching around for Springlock after returning from defeating the giant titan, Trypticon. They couldn't find her or Slingblade anywhere which immediately raised concern even higher. Other Autobots were aiding in the search, even Grimlock and his team were helping.
"She's not anywhere in the base." An Autobot said.
The Prime shook his head, "Slingblade has taken her, I am sure of it."
"Optimus, I am so sorry I left her alone with him. I..." Arcee started.
He put a servo on her shoulder, sighing.
"It was not your fault, he deceived you."
Meanwhile in the medbay, the silver Autobot groaned. Shuriken opened his optics to find himself staring at the ceiling. He grit his teeth as he went and sat up, looking around for his brother. Alas Slingblade or any Autobot was nowhere to be found, but the Autobot could feel his brother in his spark.
He could feel his emotions, hear his thoughts, and knew where he was. Through the bond of their shared spark, he knew what Slingblade had done. Shurikens optics widened at what awful deed his brother had done, but he also felt his brothers anger and sorrow as he thought he was in comatose. The silver Autobot sighed and swung his legs over the side of the medical bed, pain shot up his left leg and he hissed in pain. But he didn't care, he had to go and seek out his brother.
Shuriken grunted as he got himself on his pedes, limping towards the doors. The doors swished open into the large corridor, which for now was empty as the Autobots were elsewhere. The silver ninja limped down the corridor and was in search of the exit, taking out one of his swords and using it as a sort of support. He wasn't going to let anyone get in his way of finding Slingblade, even in his weakened state.
Autobots were starting to appear as he got closer to the exit, many of them turning their heads to see Shuriken up and walking. They would murmur as the ninja limped past them, saying that it was great that he was online but he needed rest. Shuri could hear them, but chose to ignore them as he got closer to the exit. Optimus and Elita were not far from the exit when they saw Shuriken limping towards the large open doors.
"Shuriken, it's good to see you functioning. But I believe it is important that you rest." Optimus stated.
Shuri stopped limping and looked towards his leader and his Sparkmate, appearing very distraught.
"Optimus, Elita, I am so very sorry for what my brother has done..." He said.
Elita clenched a fist, "So he DID take her..."
Shuriken solemnly nods.
"But not only that, he gave her to a bounty hunter. Lockdown I believe." He continued.
This news left both Optimus and Elita silent and wide eyed, the bright red femme had tears forming in her optics. The ninja felt terrible for them, even though he didn't know they had adopted the young Predacon. Elita One started to cry quietly, Optimus hugged her tightly and looked towards the Autobot. He was upset as he cared about the sparkling very much, but he hid it remarkably well.
"I am so sorry, truly I am. If I was conscious during this, I would've beaten the absolute scrap out of him. I liked her too, she was the sweetest little thing." Shuri said.
Elita continued to weep into her Sparkmates chest as he continued to comfort her.
"If I EVER see that traitor again, I'll scrap him..!" She choked.
Shuriken said nothing as the bright red Autobot femme cried, a saddened expression upon his faceplates. He looked out the large doors in the direction his brother was headed, Optimus caught his glance and looked in that direction as well.
